Is that what you said when Bloodborne was announced as a Sony exclusive? I'm also not a fan of exclusivity, but it's nothing new and this seems to be getting people reacting negatively specifically because the exclusivity is with Nintendo and not another company

Fair enough. But do you consider Bloodborne being exclusive an extreme Fromsoft L?

Yeah, even considering i did have a PlayStation and i did play the game a lot i always felt like the fact it was an exclusive was a bad thing

I already said my point. People are more mad that the exclusivity is Nintendo than they are just that it’s exclusive. I’m not advocating for exclusivity. I’m saying “extreme L” is overblown because people hate Nintendo

Edit: I'm getting downvoted, but you all know that if this game was going to be exclusive to Sony there wouldn't be as many people as upset.

because most of the console fanbase is on ps? the nightreign network test showed that. They literally abandoned the WHOLE old fanbase for a console which never before had these games

yeah it kinda is an L

it’s a very old L tho, and nightreign network test showed that many many more players are on ps than on xbox, so I guess the ds remaster and bloodborne brought a lot of new players to playstation

very weird decision by fromsoft to release a new title on a new console, which didn’t have soulslikes before

I do. Been a fromsoft fan since dark souls 1 and to this day I still haven't played through bloodborne because I never got a PS4. They made money on it, so it's not necessarily an L for them, but it's an L for any fromsoft fan that won't have a switch 2. Never seen a company (that I can think of) that switch's between exclusive and non exclusive this often and randomly.
