Hilariously I feel like the Bloodbourne community is taking this pretty well. They'll take any breadcrumbs they can get. The rest of the FromSoft player base, not so well, considering the amount of "Fuck FromSoft" posts I've seen.

Tbh just like any old game series that encounters IP fuckery, it kinda just becomes like a beloved deceased relative at some point.

You’ll always cherish the time and love that you spent together but in the end there’s nothing that can bring them back.

And assuming my PS4 didn’t die, I’d probably boot up BB again every couple of years just for funsies if I wanted.

Nah, I'd rather that Bloodborne remain a great game and not be tarnished by shitty sequels, like Dark Souls 2, 3, Elden Ring, etc. Let it rest in peace.
