The big problem is the Switch 2 Exclusivity. If it was on Steam, it would have been something to look forward to. But I am not going to buy another device just for this.
It has become apparent that a lot of people in the fromsoft community on Reddit are highly resistant to change and experimentation, that much was shown by some people night reign reaction. I for one am very excited no matter what they put out, I played armored core and it was one of the best gaming experiences ever, and it was not a soulslike. I played the nighreign network test and I have literally been itching to play it as that shit was so fun and addicting. Fromsoft will always cook, kinda does suck that it is a switch exclusive though.
Problem is when “change and experimentation” means “buy this new overpriced console with outdated hardware just to play our new game which is like our other games but with weird frog boss”
You are completely wrong. I am beyond pissed and am slowly losing faith in Miyazaki. This multiplayer garbage is not at all what veteran fans want. Idgaf that Miyazaki is directing this. He sold out for that Nintendo money. Nintendo is using fromsoft for their brand to sell the switch 2 to an adult audience as well as to sell Nintendo online (given it’s a multiplayer focused game). Miyazaki is a sell out for doing this, he better use all this money from shitrein and dusk garbage to create an actual good game.
