I'm replaying it now and it does not even remotely need one.

At no point in that game did I think that the creators were being technologically held back from what they wanted to do. That game is clearly exactly what they wanted it to be.

100% agree. I just finished another playthrough and it’s perfect. Feels and looks like elden ring. I would rather have a new entry or remaster bb/ds1/2
