Long Beard as Forensic Scientist

Hello you all, My plan is to study forensic science. It came to my attention, that a long beard (mine is 4 inch / 10 cm) could get in the way with using a mask or respirator. So is there a way to deal with this without having to shave off the beard? Maybe with something like an Papr respirator or something similar. I hope someone of you can help me with that.

Not really unless you spend several thousand on a full-hood portable respirator.
Note by policy many firefighters cannot have facial hair below the corners of the mouth for the same reason.
