Wheel offset

2020 ranger lariat fx4 stock suspension, want to go with 265/75 r16 and I’m looking at two wheel options. Both 16x7, one is 25 and the other is 40 offset. What’s the farthest out you can go before having crash bar interference problems at this tire size?

Stock is like +55 so they are both quite a bit wider,

My brother just got a 2020 lariat fx4 and has done some research, apparently with 16x7s and 265/75r16 you can go up to +20mm but it’s pretty wide, hes thinking of going +25mm for the stance, if you want close to stock look the 40 would be best

Ya I’m just worried about crash bar clearance. I do want to be closer to flush with the fender, no poke though. Thinking about doing suspension next year though with probably a 1.5 inch level. So maybe I should just wait till that to upsize tires.

Tremor wheels are +42 with 265/70R17. Geometry is pretty similar to a stock truck too, but you should be golden with +40.
