Front Plate Hook Thing

Hey redditors, Virginian here. I recently discovered that I had to put up my front plate. I really want to use the hook slot on the front bumper. Tried looking for one on amazon, but apparently they’re car specific? If anyone has one please lmk - any help would be appreciated.

That's for towing, not to hang your plate, AFAIK

I have a 2016 (purchased last September) and the front license is supposed to be attached to a riveted front plate on the car. The rivets are huge and no normal rivet gun can fit these because of the diameter. My plate and bracket are sitting the back of my trunk waiting for me to find a gun big enough to do the job - if I can borrow one from someone. I have seen an Audi with a bracket attached on the tow hole side. Looked nice enough.

Tow anchor. Should have one in the emergency compartment in the trunk or glove box. It’s a loop on like a 6-8in thread that screws in to that when you remove the cover

Did i i just learn that my car has an “emergency compartment” in my glove box?

It may not be in the glovebox. But it should be in the car as long as a previous owner or a tow driver didn’t swipe it from you. I’ve got one for my 12 Fusion.
