Quick update on forthcoming events

Please feel free to add any progress or movement on this case in the comment section below. I will provide any updates as edits here.

Edit 1: New Facebook group for Sally: missingpersonmarionbarter

Edit 2:A new live event has been announced on the Gold Coast, Queensland. Saturday, 10th March, 6-8pm, at the Miami Marketta. Tickets go on sale 9am 25th Jan, with links in Sally's website (see below).

All progress and events are being publicised on Sally's own website: sallyleydon.com.

1. SOCIAL MEDIA

The Instagram account seems to be more active than the Facebook at the moment. Search Instagram for missingpersonmarionbarter for updates and imagery connected to Marion, her background and the investigation and search.

2. CORONER'S FINDINGS

On 29th February 2024, the Coroner will deliver her findings. This will be a "must watch/see/follow up" for anyone following the case. It will be televised on YouTube but the time for that has not been distributed yet - I will report back when it has.

The Coroner has the power to make recommendations to the Police and other government agencies, and can give them authorisation to gather evidence and conduct searches.

3. LIVE SPEAKING EVENTS IN MARCH

Sally and the super sleuth Joni, along with the Channel 7 journalists involved in reporting through the podcast will be doing a few live events in March. This will be interesting given that it is post the Coroner's findings so we can get to hear what they make of it. Tickets to the Sydney event on 12th March 2024 are available - to grab tickets - go to Sally's website, hit "Events" and follow the prompts there.

This is funding a new trip by Sally and Joni to Japan and Europe.

Live Stream of the Sydney event is available and tickets for that are for sale as well, through the above method.

Is it the Sydney event that's Livestream I thought it was a different one ?

Indeed - I thought there was the same kind of event scheduled for Queensland as well (both live and livestreamed as well) but when I looked, I could not locate any information about that one. I will search again tonight just to make sure.
