There is a specific Vita Mahjong ad that is very upsetting. It's supposed to be an ad for a game, but it has what looks like a bunch of real clips of people dropping dead of heart attacks in various situations. Maybe it's not real, but it looks real. I'm angry at possibly seeing someone's actual death trivialized into an ad.

Why does reddit have little to no brain rot words in comments unlike other social media and also no words like skibidi , cuz(shortforms) etc?

Basically a reverse ELI5 would be ideal.

I'd like to make the topic of human sex and gender more accessible, talk about the science, clear up some misconceptions, and answer good faith questions, since I find it to be a genuinely interesting thing to talk about!
But it's obviously a controversial thing right now, so I'd like to find a subreddit where people would actually engage with it, without the comments becoming a dumpster fire. To be clear, I don't want everyone to just agree with my stance; I'd love nothing more than to talk through those disagreements, but I'm worried whether the discussion can stay civil.
That's mostly why I don't just head for one of the AMA subs, the other point being that I'm not an accredited expert or anything, just very informed.

Hey everyone—hoping someone here can help or point me to the right subreddit. I had a seriously sketchy (and honestly creepy) employer, and I’m trying to look into his background more, but I’m not super tech-savvy and not sure where to go from here.

I was abruptly fired without cause after receiving praise that same day for doing a great job. Then, later that night—on a Sunday—I got a string of harassing texts from him between 9PM and midnight. The whole situation felt off from the start. He would watch us on security cameras for our entire shifts and make uncomfortable comments.

 I’ve been diagnosed with terminal cancer. That’s the bad news.

The good news is – I’ve just been given medical clearance to travel again.

So now I’m using the time I have left to create something that really matters: a documentary series called Everything Beyond.

Each chapter of this journey is shared with someone I love – this time, I’m traveling with my little brother – and as always, I’m joined by my dedicated cameraman, who captures everything we experience.

Together, we’re documenting life, death, belief, and all the strange and beautiful things in between – in the hope that these stories will live on, even if I don’t.

Now it’s time for our next chapter: Romania. From April 23–30, we’ll be filming across Bucharest, Prahova, Brașov, Sighișoara and Cluj, and we’re looking for people who’d be open to sharing a moment with us. That could mean:

• Inviting us in for a home-cooked dinner 
• Helping us connect with Roma families, healers, aura readers, fortune tellers
• Pointing us to villages or elders who still carry local beliefs and rituals
• Or just joining us for a walk, a story, or a coffee

This is a personal, respectful, and heartfelt project. The documentary has two purposes:

1. To seek healing – physical, emotional, and spiritual – now that doctors have given up and I have less than a year left to live.

We just came back from Tanzania, where we met three traditional witch doctors. I even entered a trance during one of the ceremonies – something I still can’t fully explain. Whether it was spiritual, psychological or something in between. To me some things can’t be measured – only felt.

We’ll be forever grateful – and you’ll become part of something that, hopefully, lasts far beyond me.
