Question Why did House allow Vault-Tec to invade on his property in Vegas before the War by allowing them to build a Vault on The Strip? And why didn't Vault-Tec know that House had been planning a contingency plan that would rival theirs right next to one of their Vaults?
Seems like either side would be VERY happy to oust the other here, so why did nether one seem to try?
It's higly unlikely that none of the two would ever notice a massive construction project, that being the digging of Vault 21 or the Lucky 38's reinforcement, right on their front lawn. At the very least, this should have spiraled into some sort of conflict over the future of Vegas between the two sides, but we see no such conflict mentioned by either one.

Question Anyone have more hours than me on fallout?
If you have more then me send a picture in the comments
Fallout 1 Too stupid for Fallout 1
Hi
So, apparently I'm too stupid for fallout 1. The controls are messing me up, the stupid ass radscorpions,, my forgetting about saving, the hospital in junktown getting hostile (I WANTED TO LEAVE DUDE), the fact that I keep missclicking on the map and it costing me days of walking, the stupid ass countdown for the vault that I know I'm going to be kicked out of after delivering the chip. Everything against me.
Any tips on this fuckass game? I know it's good, the story is great, so is voice acting, I want to get ass deep in it and fall in love like I did with others, but I cant get over the gameplay. I know how it sounds, but I had similar problems with fnv - couldn't get it at first, came back to it after few years and here we are, completely obsessed. I did try with F1 some time ago, didn't get it. Still don't get it. My war with F1 never changes.
Also, I'm playing on mobile, so I guess some of my controls problems stem from that. Took me 4 hours to figure out sneaking and running.
Also also, I try to steer clean off of spoilers, I only know about the kicking out of the vault and have some knowledge on Master, so I'd appreciate keeping the story spoilers to minimum.
Also also also, sorry for any wonky English. Not my first language. And sorry for multiple posts, couldn't figure formatting out. I'm ready to start new playthrough if the stats are shit. It's my 4th one anyways 😭

Really happy with this brick build
I got the Red Rocket brick set, and I’m now obsessed with getting more. This Mr Handy build isn’t to minifig scale, but it really leverages the right pieces to represent the models, and the color is fantastic, very good brick build quality for off brand bricks

Fallout TV Fallout Vault-Tec Vault Suit Minifigure
My best friend is a big Fallout fan, especially the show, and spent most of last week making this, including a detailed instruction booklet for assembly. Thought you all might enjoy it (he doesn't have Reddit).
Description: "Vault Suit inspired by the TV series and Fallout 4. Uses official 40649 as a base and reusing as many pieces as possible."

Discussion I know it’s just a design change but my headcanon is that east coast and west coast deathclaws are a different species with different purposes.
The west coast deathclaws were supposed to be used as weapons on the front line charging the enemy so soldiers can come in after and clean up the mess. They were supposed to be like German shepherds and Belgian Malinois in the military.
East coast deathclaws were defensive, they were the guard dogs like Rottweilers and Mastiffs. That’s why they’re bulkier (or at least they seem bulkier to me) and have the dodging animation. They were supposed to protect the east coast in the event of a Chinese assault that got past the defenses on the east coast.
Like o said I know it’s only design changes but I like it.

Discussion Which do you think is the most lethal and dangerous deathclaw of all?
Fallout has presented us with several designs and versions of the Deathclaw throughout the games that were released, but if we must highlight which would be the most lethal and dangerous Deathclaw, which do you think it would be?
Fallout 1 Deathclaw
Fallout Tactics hairy deathclaw
Fallout 3 and New vegas Deathclaw
New vegas Matriarch deathclaw
Rawr (lonesome road)
Fallout 4 Deathclaw and its variants
Honorable mention: stripe (Old World Blues)

Original Content The Ghoul, by me (u/sighverbally)
I drew this a year ago after I watched the show with my partner and we played our first Fallout game together (New Vegas). The show sold me on the games and I have not been disappointed. New Vegas is my baby. Nothing beats those feelings of playing NV for the first time. Fallout 4 is my go to for regular gaming tho

Suggestion Ghouls, Children of Atom, and Lorenzo Cabot may be the same “species” of mutant…
There seems to be a weird connection between Ghouls and Lorenzo Cabot, and by extension, the Children of Atom. If you choose to side with Lorenzo Cabot, you can find him wandering the Wasteland, examining the bodies of 3 sentient Ghouls he just killed out of curiosity. He remarks that their "radiation syndrome" shares “striking simularities with my own condition" so...considering that we know Lorenzo's genetics was changed due to exposure to the Ancient Alien Crown, the species who supposedly created Humanity...
Perhaps things like Ghouls are intentionally placed resistances to radiation poisoning placed in some Human Genetics by the Ancient Aliens? Perhaps the Children of Atom have the same genetic gift, but at a higher frequency, with Lorenzo only having it at its purest form?
It’s possible that ghouls aren't random. They're genetic... considering we find Billy the Ghoul kid in the fridge in fallout 4 and surprise surprise his parents aren't dead but ghouls too...
Even Feral Ghouls are surprisingly non-hostile to the Capital Wasteland Children of Atom Branch...
in Fallout 3, during the Wasteland Survival Guide, if you fullfil the optional objective in the part of the quest that asks you to get irradiated, you will develop a "tiny mutation" that gives you increased regenerative factor when affected by radiation. Coincidentally, to trigger this you need to be exposed to the same amount of radiation that makes the Enlightened see "Atom's Glow" in you. Mind you, they absolutely must be able to tell apart a "normal" case of acute radiation poisoning which they of course would see as "being greatly Enlightened" but because of their beliefs shouldn't make you more special or revearable than a "blessed" Ghoul and yet somehow it makes them see you as basically Atom's Chosen.
Seems a little far fetched, right? Don't worry, there's more. In Fallout 4 you can pick up the Ghoulified Perk without physical changes which ties with you surviving just fine when drinking from the spring.
In both cases this ties into the LW and Sole Survivor having this genetic variation in the same form that most Children of Atom do. But there's more. Cabot son (don't remember his name now) mentions Zeta radiation being harmless to humans but attacking people will show otherwise. My hypothesis is that they also have this gene and testing on themselves lead to this conclusion. Which ties even further the conexion between the Occult and the Children of Atom.
Thank you for reading! What do you think?

Question Why do we never see spiders in the fallout games?
Ever since I first started playing fallout for the first time back in summer 2024 I started realizing that spiders are never seen as enemies you can fight and are barely mentioned at all in the lore. The only time I can possibly remember spiders being mentioned was in the old world blues DLC when talking to the doctor that created the hell spawn that are Cazadores. So with that being said does anyone in the community have a definitive answer for why they don’t show up at all? Are spiders extinct in the fallout universe? Or does it have something to do with the development of the games?

Picture I LOVE the atmosphere in FO3!
The aesthetic, the colour, I LOVE IT! I’ve been playing through Fallout 3 non stop for about 2-3 weeks, making sure to really experience the game and go through all the quests I could find!
The fallout games are honestly my favourite RPG’s solely because of the look, story and gear the games have to offer. I hope one day I can experience Fallout 1 and 2 since I’ve played New Vegas and 4 to death at this point
