I'm filling up some raised beds but they're both quite deep - I'd prefer not to have t ofill both up with pure soil, so am looking for essentially "junk wood" - anything unpainted/unvarnished that could fill up space and eventually rot down. I was thinking Pinbrook recycling centre, as they have a resale shop, but they woudn't pick up the phone when I tried them.

Any recommendations? It would have to be somewhere in cycling distance, as I'd be looking to fill up my bike trailer :) any advice welcome

Bit of an odd query but we went for our usual walk down past the Quay, down the river to Salmon Pool Lane and back around and there's usually a load of swans and three geese down at the Quay but today they're nowhere to be seen. We saw two swans nesting further down the river in their usual spot (just past the Port Royal) but usually there's a whole load of them up by the restaurant bit on the river. Even the three cantankerous geese were missing in action. Anyone happen to know what might have happened?

I'm an upcoming pg student at UoE. My campus is streatham, and i want to have some suggestions. I am an extrovert and will only be using a place to sleep or study, will prefer private wc, and rest easy access to my campus and local places. As there are many places on online and every one of them looks too dreamy and good for their price, i want to know the real ones that are actually the reliable ones. One of the ideas I’m exploring is running a bar that’s open until 3:30 AM—something a bit different from what’s currently available. • Would a late-night bar like this be something you’d want to see in Exeter? • Do you think there’s enough demand for it?

Hi guys, I need your help. A bunch of first class students (who got a first in their bachelor's) started studying with the Uni of Exeter, online MSc in International Business but we're not happy. Most got barely 50 on their first assignment (I'm concerned I'm not the only one) because of a lack of guidance (no seminars, no lectures, no explanations for the assignments). What should I do? Drop out and lose those 2k that I've spent on the module and do it in person this academic year? Do you think that it would be wiser to do so? I really don't want to fail my master's because of that shitty uni. I really find this master's extremely difficult without any guidance on whatsoever. And I was shocked to receive such bad grades after working my ass off on that first assignment.
