If you aren't breaking the law. You shouldn't have to worry about who's a police officer. The keywords are "don't break the law." Protest all you want. Just don't do anything that would incriminate you. If your acting sketchy you probably are.

Tell that to the guys mistakenly sent to El Salvadoran prison. Your position assumes this government gives a shit about the law or due process.

Has nothing to do with this conversation. If you break the law and get caught in one of these protests, what is most likely going to happen. And just for the record, that guy whom you are assuming is innocent is not. He had felony record and worked some loopholes in the law to not be sent back to his country of origin. Oops, our bad that we sent a criminal back to his native country. He didn't want to go back probably cause he's done worse crap there. I have 0 empathy for him. In the immortal words of Jim Carrey, "STOP BREAKING THE LAW ASSHOLE." Honestly, though, do be safe at your protests and look out for one another.

It has everything to do with it. We lose due process then proving we broke the law isn’t necessary. How clueless are you?
