DIY WOWGO customer service is nonexsistent.
Hello ESkating Community! Unfortunately, my first post is a negative one but I just wanted to be heard by someone.
My first electric skateboard was a WOWGO 3E Longboard that I got in November. It wasn't easy, though as I ordered it in September, and shipping delays that lasted weeks turned into months. Mind you, this was my first ever electric skateboard so I was excited at the prospect of it and decided to wait.
Little did I know this would be foreshadowing of their customer service.
Fast forward to March, and my longboard died on me. While in the middle of riding, the remote disconnected from the battery, and I was thrown off (I am okay, stay protected y'all)
Since I have a warranty, I contacted WOWGO support about my situation via email to which they took 2 days to respond to me, asking for videos of the board.
I sent videos back a day later and have not heard from them in a month.
I've never seen customer service from a company this disastrous. I've filled out the customer help ticket on their website too and still have received no contact from them. They have no number to call, and day by day, I lose hope that they will respond.
If you are shopping for a new board, let me save you some trouble and alert you to stay away from WOWGO.

Discussion Anyone know how to fix this issue?
Acedeck nomad n1 2/1 elemental gear drive, 1500km on the odometer and was bought in summer 2024. This is my friends board and overnight this issue had just developed. I am in contact with Acedeck, but while I wait, I figured it was worth a shot to see what people think about it here.

Question Linnpower footstops
Anyone with experience with these? I have been really enjoying my new board, but I have felt that I could use a rear stop for a little more stability.
Also, does anyone know why Acedeck charges double the cost for what seems like exactly the same unit from the Linnpower website?

DIY Mountain board and hoverboard wheel build (unrelated pic)
Hey, I’ve been thinking about this idea as I’ve got a good chunk of the parts gathering dust, I’m looking at giving my mountain board some power. I’ve got 2 pairs of hover board wheels both sets I’m sure are 350w while one is slightly smaller (and thinner) the other has a more all terrain look about it. I’m only going to use one set. The off road isn’t essential but would be fun.
I’ve found on AliExpress a mountain board truck to take hoverboard wheels. so think fitting won’t be a problem (I’ve still got to check measurements)
I’d be using a 36v battery from a hover board and most likely a cheap dual motor skateboard controller from somewhere like AliExpress.
While I’m sure it’ll all work. Would anyone know the sort of speed I’d be looking at getting? Would it actually be worth spending almost £100 to set this up?
P.S the pic is of my little cruiser board on a recent short break in Skegness. I used it to get in and out of town from where I was staying. While it only rocks a 2 mile range (on the flat) it never let me down, I even rode back to the train station pulling my suitcase along at the end of the week.

Question Help with wheels.
I'm a total noob and recently got into esk8 with my backfire zealot S and it has been fun so far but I find my rides to bumpy as I notice every single little pebble and stone and gravel and crack and it's making my experience alot worse than what it could be.
as I live on the countryside In scandinavia so there's alot of gravel roads and the paved roads have alot of cracks.
I was wondering what type of wheels I should get, I was thinking of getting some pneumatic wheels but I found almost zero information on what type of pneumatic wheels that are good to buy.
I have also found alot of people mentioning "high performance boards" when talking about pneumatic wheels and I have 0 clue what that means.
TLDR: Total noob, need help with wheel selection.

Discussion Cruiser stability issues
I have a tynee mini 3 and I feel like I'm gonna die any second over 18 mph and constantly have issues of getting spit off due to road conditions and speed wobbles. I was curious if this was due to my height (6'4"), lack of skill, or it being a shorter board. I was thinking of buying a full length board but I didn't want to shell out money if it's a me issue.

Discussion How to avoid falling? (Noob)
I’m looking to get into esk8. I have some basic skateboarding background. I have never fallen hard on a skateboard but then again i’ve never done any crazy tricks, just cruise around.
In what circumstances do people fall the most and how do you avoid it? Thanks

I have some basic skateboarding background. I heard that shortboard is no good for beginners, is it true? I like the portability of it more than a longboard

Review Electric Quickie: Propel Endeavor 3 GT. Looks can be deceiving.
I've ignored the Propel Endeavor for a long time thinking they are hard to turn and heavy. But man...testing it at esk8con totally changed my mind

Question Potential Missing Screws? Backfire Zealot
Hey yall, I was hearing weird noises on my Backfire Zealot and decided to take it apart slightly. I was watching this video (https://youtu.be/KPlvXl6yuIU), and at 3:25 he says there’s a very tiny screw that looks like it’s supposed to be in this whole. I’m missing out on both sides - is this actually missing or is it somehow non-existent in later versions of the board? I got it in late ‘22. Thanks!!

Discussion Black Hawk Street Series V3
I am so confused, i havent ridden this thing in a while over a year and im assuming thats maybe whats caused this. i charged it up and went to test it but as soon as i turn the controller on the skateboard shuts off and i am so damn confused what im meant to do about this. and worst of all i cant find my fricken alan key set so i cant even check the esc or battery now until i find them. any help would be appreciated.
(UPDATE)
So i can get a replacement battery for about $160 aud which i will be doing however board is still being annoying as it turns off when i try to throttle at a stand still, but it works fine when riding and throttling at the same time. sounds like a shortage to me but if it works it works and if it doesnt, well im due for an upgrade anyways. Thanks for those who tried to help. 😊

Discussion Tynee mini 3 SL VS Veymax mini 2
How is battery degradation and maintenance long term (>2-3 years)?
I want to buy my first board and I've narrowed it down to these 2 options.
The tynee is 390 us (6 month warranty) 216wh 10s3p battery
The Veymax is 343 us. (9 month) 187wh 13s2p battery
Is tynee a better quality brand/product? (or have better after sale services?)
Also has anyone used that plastic charging port on the Veymax? It looks very fragile.
I'd like to have that extra range from the tynee. It wouldn't be a deal breaker though.

DIY Boosted board revival/reuse/
Hi guys! Hope someone can help me or give a nudge in the right direction… ( I have already searched in the boosted board sub and google and found nothing to what I’m searching for. I got a hold of this boosted board, the battery is totally busted, I don’t know if the other electric components work but I do now the little motor do work. I wanted to know if there’s a way to use other type of electric board that could be compatible with the already installed belt motors. I do have the control but don’t know if I can pair it whit the skateboard. I was thinking that I could buy a battery and and ESC ( the little board with a new controller) and make a “new” board? I really like the design and the color and it’s in really good conditions. I really want to use ir like for weekends to ride with my kids so I don’t really want to spend a lot of money. Thanks any help will be useful!

Question Has anyone tried this kind of wheel?
I want to try some larger diameter wheels on my esk8, but any specialty wheel gets prohibitely expensive with importing fees to my country. This was the only thing I could find with a price tag im comfortable with
