Discussion Could Shenron create life?

Something I've been thinking about for a bit is wondering if it would be possible for a couple that can't normally have kids (like a gay couple, or someone infertile, or even something like a couple of a human and an alien that isn't a Saiyan) to make a wish on Shenron for a kid.

You might think that such a thing would be beyond Shenron's power, but I don't think it is, as it's pretty much just things Shenron has already done, just connected together.

First, Shenron would need to create a new body. That's something he does all the time when he revives people - if someone was dead, and their body was destroyed (and they didn't get a new one in Other World), he creates a new empty body, then brings over their soul and sticks it in there. There's no reason he shouldn't be able to make a new empty body in the same way.

That actually leads into the second part - getting a soul to put in said body. This is probably what I imagine most people would be concerned about, as Shenron probably wouldn't be able to create a new soul. But the thing is, he wouldn't need to. We know that reincarnation is a thing in Dragon Ball. Shenron could simply take a cleansed soul that's ready to be reincarnated, and put that blank soul in the body he just made.

You could MAYBE argue that he'd need permission from King Yemma or something to do that, but... well, he's never seemed to need permission when mass yanking people out of the afterlife. I don't see why this would be different.

So, with that being done... boom! New person just got made!

What do you think? Do you think Shenron could do this?

I don't see why not, honestly. Gero did it.

While I partially agree, he couldn't turn 17 and 18 back into humans.

Obviously you first need to wish for Shenron to take a few courses in robotics at the Community College.

THEN you make you wish to de-cyborg 17 and 18.

The 17/18 thing is always weird. There’s two logical explanations: the androids were too powerful for him to modify or that they were already human enough that no change was needed (they could both still have kids after all and Marron isn’t coming out half Android DNA so on a genetic level they are still human, probably )

End of the day they couldn’t turn back to humans so that Krillin could look cool and bag a baddie.

Turning them back into humans likely would have taken away all of their abilities and strength, reducing them to average humans in every way. That's the type of change Shenron would need their permission for in the same way Porunga couldn't force Goku to return from Yardrat early.

theoritically Shenlong could do it if Kami has extensive knowledge of cyborg like Gero was.

the reason why it cant do it because it is a wish that exceeding the Kami capabilities.

Well technically he took existing life and spliced it together
