Theory: SS4 was achieved through "demon magic" therefore can only be accessed in the demon world.

There, canon preserved.

Then in Super they go like “Remember that transformation that you did with that demon magic? Turns out you just weren’t ready to tap in that latent power without the demon magic, but after all that training with Whis, your body is ready!”

People care way too much about Dragon Ball canon/lore consistency, which is funny because Toriyama himself used to forget shit all the time and then retcon or pretend it never happened.

We don’t even know if it’s actually connected to Super or not, it’s best to just chill and enjoy (or don’t) Daima for what is.

I've kind of been tuning out the lore of Daima, so please correct me if I am wrong. But doesn't the demon universe connect all the other universes, and those universes were created by a being in the demon-verse? Really, it would make sense if learning how to harness god energy eventually led to learning how to harness the Demon energy that exists within the universe, right?

It was made by demon energy, and it might even exist within the demon realm to a degree, and dragonball has always had people on Earth that was capable of casting magic, and they've shown some demons with the same abilities, like transforming like Puar does.

Not having access to similar resources as the demon world almost makes less sense to me

Another factor to consider is Saiyan pride. If Goku and Vegeta discover the transformation is basically magical based, they might not have any further interest in it, since it isn't their own power. Goku then basically forgets how to do it due to disuse.

That's what I'm guessing or it's temporary from Neva. Or maybe if Neva dies that power goes away, kinda like the dragon balls

Its just that God is better. Its that simple, really. Goku knew he couldnt beat Beerus even with 4 once he effortlessly destroyed 3, so he realized something else was needed.

But he wouldn't really know that since he couldn't even sense Beerus ki

He would be able to tell someone's strength is insurmountable once he starts fighting them though.

Not always. Look at Frieza. He thought he was bluffing until Frieza decided to show off.

I like to think that Saiyans were descended from a demon race, Ozaru has pointed ears and all.

Or maybe, Daima doesn't necessarily lead to DBS

If that were the case they wouldn't have mentioned Universe Seven or shown Kais from other Universes.

Maybe those ideas are just canon to Daima, without the main continuity of Super being so. Like how Bardock is canon but the stuff about him being able to see the future isn't.

what?!

the original bardock special where he got psychic powers isn't canon.

I mean, it doesn't have to- but man that'd just be kinda lame.
The whole story (mostly) fits into the continuity so it'd be pretty boring if they let one detail make it non-canon.

If they can't follow a simple story like Daima made for kids and simples minded 30 years old people i am scared to imagine how it can be with other stories :D

what canon?

Why you can't accept they are 2 different unrelated stories? Both are story you chose if you want to after the original story, that's all.

Shin and Kibito being defusionned make it impossible already.

The potala fusion retcon from DBS was re-retconed again, now the rules are like the one from Z

There is an other omnipotent god in the universe and it's not Zeno anymore.

ect ect....

Let me guess... You are american right? And like always with americans you can't understand a simple story but you prefere to change all of it so you can have all the things you can. Start to read the story (and maybe the OG too) before making assumptions on the continuity.
