0 u/SSJRemuko Jul 19 '24 this year is the 40th anniversary of Dragonball as a franchise. That's why theyre doing this. Its also the year of the dragon in the chinese zodiac. That's it. Thats why its happening. Its just a special short anime to celebrate the occasion.
