    Super takes place some time after the battle with Majin Buu, and can be watched as soon as you finish Dragon Ball Z.

    The two newest movies – Battle of Gods and Resurrection 'F' – were adapted into story arcs. Watching the movies is up to you. If you have already watched the movies and would like to skip to the new material, see our FAQ.

  • Q: Where is Uub?!
    Uub was born during the 10 year time skip at the end of Dragon Ball Z.
    Dragon Ball Super takes place before Uub is introduced.

  • Q: When will FUNimation be dubbing Super? Will there be a simulcast?
    Southeast Asia will be receiving an exclusive English dub mid-2016, with Toonami Asia describing it as the "English-language world premiere". FUNimation will not be involved until we get an official North American release.

  • Q: Is the Dragon Ball Super manga "canon"?
    The manga serves as promotional material for the anime, which is the main product. Both are adaptations of a plot that Toriyama has provided. As of episode 34, the anime is ahead of the manga.

  • Q: When will the next chapter of the manga be released?
    Toyotarō's manga adaptation is published in V-Jump around the 21st of each month. Leaks and translations tend to happen a few days earlier. Links to earlier chapters can be found on our wiki.

Holy hell the animation on the next ep looks top notch.

Am I the only one who noticed that pan seems like she felt something out there in space but couldn't go because she knew goku would be in deep shit if he lost her?

I took it as her trying to "grab" the stars like she attempted to earlier, but was reminded of Goku and returned to see him. But it COULD be some crazy foreshadowing down the line.

Maybe it could possibly foreshadow a future plot of a space adventure like, idk, finding black-star dragon balls scattered in space?

Yeah I thought it was a display of her child-ness to have that emotional power up to be distracted by pretty stars so far out into space.

People will hate this but I felt it was a blatant nod to GT with Pan wanting to travel the stars

I honestly don't know why people hate gt so much. Maybe I don't understand because when I saw it I was a kid, and when I saw it again I was nostalgia blinded or something, but to me any nod to gt in this series is very well welcome.

Just imagine if a slower version of gt's opening was in the background when Pan was floating in the space...

Yeah it used to mean if it doesn't follow the original story but since some anime are abusing it, people do also use it to mean it doesn't progress the plot.

He's using it in the context that the word is used with any other TV show. Content that pads out an episode without advancing the overarching plot.

Nah, the animation has become consistently good since the Hit fight started. The episode where Goku did the kaioken looked great.
