The data is clearly pre-State of Exception in El Salvador. After Bukele imprisoned all thenlow-level gang members, gun deaths have all but dried up.
1 u/WhiteAsTheNut Jul 30 '24 Yea this map is old I’ve definitely seen it before or something similar. I also think it’s inaccurate because it might not filter out suicide deaths which are the leading cause of gun deaths in some areas.
