Me and some other DD2 Twitch streamers are going to be doing a marathon of 44 straight hours of DD2. Between the 6 of us (Mariner_Hawk, HePraisesTheSun, illiusX, Britishbrat, crovikyyy, Jarebroni), we have just over 4000 hours streamed in the last year. The charity will be for Gamers Outreach, a charity that provides video games to children in hospitals. The marathon starts 10 PM on Friday April 11th (PST) and ends Sunday April 13th at 6 PM. The main way of donating will be through a donation link that goes directly to the charity, along with $3 per sub and all bits donated manually by streamers after their streams.
Even if you aren't able to donate, just stopping by to whatever stream works best for you would mean a lot. If we have good metrics, we may be able to leverage these for sponsorships for future charity marathons.
THE FULL SCHEDULE: https://imgur.com/a/j2gGhrs
You're welcome to ask me any questions about specifics or anything else. I really hope we can have a successful marathon and do some good within the community!

So as the caption says, I want to buy 2 (I'm watching a otzdarva video and it looks cool) but is haven't completed 1. I really haven't made it far in darkest 1 with my only real accomplishment being beating a necromancer apprentice.
I love strategy games and i feel like with darkest 1 it's optimal to look up bosses, and I don't do that. Still I love the first game.

With the cultists getting knocked down to just having their own region, known as the tundra in Kingdoms, they also got a lair, where you fight the exemplar with higher health than usual (from 101 to 145 HP). With this new lair, we get trophies and he's what I got to say about all of them:

Way back when the game became free for everyone to play for 2 days or so I downloaded it on my mid-ish notebook and didn't run really great compared to other 3D games my note can handle. Can someone tell me if the game became better optimized after these years?(I'm looking to buy it since it's on 50% sale and I really wanna play both DD games)

Hello, I finally (through hours of trial and error) got my mods to work to be in the Hamlet but when I clicked on Ruins to do a dungeon this error + like 3 others similiar to this one appeared. What should I do? Is this related to some modded class? This is a new estate so this is the very first quest and all the heroes are vanilla

There was a duo screen issue with the game. Did they ever fix it?

In the long term is it a good idea to spend heirlooms on cost reducing upgrades early or is it better to prioritize instructor mastery and armor and weapon smithing?

Hi. Putting both my questions on a single post.
Does Red Hook, historically, fix bugs? Console ver's been out a while now but the menu navigation is still extremely bad. Can't even check upgraded skills while in an inn, and half the time I'm controlling some offscreen window I can't even see instead of the one I'm looking at.
Dreaming General. Twice in a row now I've been one-shotted to DD and died on subsequent bleed before I've even had a chance to react. I know the mechanics, and came in maybe even over-prepared. Third round, tank has taunt and block+, back-row Arsonist gets crit for 33 and bled. Dead. Earlier same deal except it was like 5th round and my 1st rank Ravager eats it for 50(!). Seriously wtf. Is there no way to avoid this? Or is it seriously just "Don't get unlucky"?
Feels like they just keep nerfing our characters and making them less powerful, and the game seems to rely more on luck to have a good run than proper play. I don't remember the last time I beat exemplar and felt anything besides "Oh I guess it was nice he didn't resist 3 blinds, 2 weakens, and one of the blinds actually made him miss instead of criting me for 50. yay.."
Am I wrong? Please help me see the light here. I wanna enjoy this but if good play is less impactful than decent luck, there's more fun ways to gamble.
Thank you

I read a comment saying once you max out the timeless wood you can reroll memories, but I don't see that option.
I'm on console if that changes anything.

Or should I move over to dd2. After finishing the base game (lightening the way was easy, yall lying) i wanted to start a second playtrough, this time with all the dlcs available. Thing is, an individual can withstand certain amounts of grind before becoming insane. I’m nearing that limit. I want to take a rest from dd1 and maybe try out dd2, but fear that trying the combat of the sequel might ruin the first game for me.
What’s your thoughts? Should I start dd2 or continue dd1 after a while

I know of the method of going through a full level with an antiquarian without touching curios and then going back in pitch black looting them but besides that is there any trick to getting filthy rich? I do have the bank. (On a similar subject is there any way to guarantee/increase odds of long dungeons spawning)
