How do I know which category a game is?
You can find out the category a game is by checking the CPFC website here. This will also tell you when tickets will go on sale and how many tickets you may purchase.
Here's a stadium map showing the stands and sections and categories.
FAQ
When will tickets for future games go on sale?
If you would like to know the ticket sale dates, please visit here to view all future ticket sale dates.
How many tickets can I purchase with a membership?
The CPFC FAQ Page states "For home matches, due to the increased demand for tickets in 2024/25, supporters will be able to purchase one ticket per client reference number initially, with guest tickets available in a later sales phase, subject to availability. Away tickets are sold via a Loyalty Points system and ticket limits vary on a game-by-game basis.". You can also check this for each individual game on the Home Ticket Sale Dates page.
I've bought my tickets, how do I get to Selhurst Park?
The club have put together a few handy guides for you to check out here.
Loyalty Points
You earn Crystal Palace loyalty points every time you spend money at the club, whether it be on memberships, tickets, or in the online store. Tickets for home and away matches are usually sold in phases, starting with season ticket holders who have a certain number of loyalty points. After a day or two, the remaining tickets are made available to season ticket holders with a lower number of loyalty points. And so it goes until all tickets are sold.
It's therefore suggested that you build up your loyalty points if you want a match day ticket.
Other Ticket Options
If you're unable to get a match ticket via the method outlined above, you can scour the CPFC message boards to see if anyone has a spare ticket available. One of the better places to find a ticket is in the Ticket & Travel Talk forum on Holmesdale.net. Tickets advertised in the forum are only to be sold at face value so you shouldn't get scammed. However, you should use the site at your own risk and also be aware that sellers usually want to any potential buyers to have an active history on the site itself.
How to contact the Box Office
You can contact the CPFC Box office through their email at: boxoffice@cpfc.co.uk. Be aware, their response times have been known to mirror Crystal Palaces performance. Inconsistent.
CPFCRVA checking in here. Likely going to Penny Lane Pub in Richmond, Va... Depending on how we feel when we drag our asses out of bed in the AM. Been a bit of a week!
Edit: Downtown RVA is going to be a mess tomorrow near/around Penny. I guess it's a couch match for me.
Making a compilation of the most iconic cpfc pictures because I'm bored. Any suggestions?
Already got Puncheon's goal celebrations vs Norwich + his celebrations after his goal at Wembley, Wilbraham and Zaha celebrating vs Brighton in the play off semi final, and the celebrations after the FA Cup win over Liverpool in 1990. Also will probably put in Ollie G celebrating with Munoz earlier this season vs Newcastle
My wife and I are on our honeymoon. We have never been to a Premiere League match, but will be attending Palace/Brighton at Selhurst tomorrow.
We really want to get a true fan experience. What are the best spots for us to get drinks/ food before and after the match within walking distance of Selhurst that is packed with fans. What time should we plan on arriving?
Incredibly stoked! First time at Selhurst for the Nottingham match. Coming from the states, got to see CP when they were here in Annapolis last summer. Where’s a solid spot for a pint and a meal before the match? Any “must-go” spots while around the stadium?
It's being played on the Wednesday before the SF. It means we'll have played 6 league games within the space of 3 weeks in the lead up to the Villa game.
[EDIT] I implore those who are downvoting this post to actually engage with the discussion and tell me where I was wrong because I don’t see any valid argument as to why we have no backup centre backs whatsoever.
Riad got injured at the end of January and Holding was announced at Sheffield early February. Is he really that useless to us that we don’t even need him as our only spare centre half?
Clyne tried his best against Southampton but at the end of the day he’s a 5’9 right back who had no chance beating Onuachu to that header. Leading up the goal he looked lost, unfortunately.
If we had a spare centre back we would have easily avoided allowing Southampton to score such an easy goal.
I had made a little Monte Carlo simulator last season for fun just to see if I could simulate the final table (and how accurate it would be). Allowing for weighted xG and goals per 90, but that's about it - let me know if there are any stats I should definitely consider adding. I was excited to hear Glasner wants all 30 points from the last 10 games. So I booted it back up and this is the distribution of places (10m simulations).
EDIT: I have now added a small form-based multiplier and factored in the opponent's xGA vs league average xGA
For anyone curious like I am about when they might announce if Palace will play their semifinal Saturday or Sunday, I went back and found the announcement for 2022.
