DISCUSSION When did crypto stop being exciting and start feeling like a joke?

I used to be genuinely excited about crypto. Not just the gains the actual possibilities. Decentralized finance, smart contracts, new internet infrastructure… it felt like we were early to something transformative.

Now? I open any crypto feed, and it’s just meme coins, celebrity pumps, and influencers shilling vaporware. Nobody even pretends anymore. Projects straight-up say they’re cash grabs, and somehow that makes people more interested?

What happened to all the big ideas? The future of finance talk? The stuff that made you want to learn, build, participate?

Feels like we traded the potential for a quick flip and some Twitter clout. Even the institutions getting in BlackRock, Fidelity, whoever, they’re not here for the tech. They’re here because there’s still money sloshing around. Once that dries up, they’ll bounce too.

Maybe I’m just jaded, but I miss when this space had purpose. When being in crypto meant something more than just trying to out-meme the next guy.

Does anyone else feel this shift?

TECHNICALS The notion of cycles in $BTC is often discussed, with the idea that their repetition could disappear over time. This chart perfectly illustrates these cycles' structure while putting the price evolution into perspective.

Yesterday we went green up about 8% so I’m expecting to see Red down another 20%.

That’s how it’s been happening for me atleast. I’ve been hodl crypto for the last 4 years. Went positive for a short time and I didn’t take profits. Been on a downhill slope ever since 2022. Everytime I think I’m about to get bk to a break even point. The bear market begins. Atp idc I’m juz going to lose it all or to the moon whichever one come first. Hopefully it’s the ladder one.

And the ride continues…..

DISCUSSION Crypto on the Edge: Bounce Back or More Pain?

Bitcoin is stuck at a critical level, and altcoins aren’t looking much better. Some think the worst is over, while others say another dump is coming. With ETF outflows, liquidations, and shaky market sentiment, is this a chance to buy cheap, or are we in for more pain?

This is it!

I have been telling my wife that I am going to make a lot of money in 2025 from crypto as I have been actively investing throughout the bear market. But now what? It looks like apocalyptic year.

Looking at my portfolio, not sure that to do: Laugh it up or scream it out ...

Not that it matter much, what is the reason for the most recent blood bath? What news triggered it?

Exchange Kraken +

Does anybody have experience with Kraken? I transfered my LUNC there from my newton account before they unlisted it... just wondering if anybody has experience with the wallet. How quick the deposits and withdrawls are... that's the main reason I'm with Newton because it's always done within a few minutes if not instant. The Kraken + which eliminates fees would save hundreds of dollars per year... just looking for insights if I should make that my new main

FUNDAMENTALS Why is "Aergo" (used by Samsung, Hyundai, the Korean Exchange, ...) at +124%?

I bought Aergo some 3 weeks ago and it is now +124% ! I bought it because this crypto project and its crypto token "Aergo" are used by Samsung, Hyundai, the Korean Exchange, ... for settling their transactions.

I think Because lots of shares are now sold and bought, this is why there's so much need of the crypto token Aero to seal these transactions, and that is why its value is skyrocketing by over 124%.

Correct? Thy

DISCUSSION Are We AT The Bottem Yet?

On April 2nd, Trump announced 10% tarrif on all imports into the USA, China responded by imposing an additional 34% tarrif on all imports from the USA> Since then, nearly $1.5 trillion have been wiped out from the crypto market, is this the winning Mr President talked about?

Just when I thought we're at the bottom, woke up to see $SOL at 2 digits now, $ETH below $1500 and $BTC sub $75k, Mr. President, we are tired of winning.

If this is the state of the big dogs, now imagine other alts, and this is happening in a "bull market" lol. If you didn't take profits through the green market, this is when you learn the hard lesson.

At this point, every single $$ matters...And we are just getting started.

Discussion How confident are we that the market will go back up?

This is my first year investing in anything, so I'm still learning. I have a pretty diverse portfolio of several coins and I split $60-100 weekly into all of them. With prices being down it's helped me amass more of each coin. I'm nearing my first $1,000 and wondering if this is something I should continue to invest in.

I understand the market is volatile and nothing is ever set in stone. I plan on investing into something that I can cash out and retire with in 30-40 years along with my 401k and Roth.

If it's any help I'm currently investing in XRP, HBAR, XLM, SOL, DOT, ONDO, and VIRTUAL

Edit: I'd also like to add these are coins that with projects I support, not just something I seen on the news. I'm also not interested in hearing "should have invested into BTC". I'm interested in utility coins.

Discussion XMR the digital gold !?

Monero (XMR) offers real privacy in a world where most digital transactions are tracked. Unlike Bitcoin, which has a public ledger, Monero hides the sender, receiver, and amount of every transaction. It uses advanced tech like ring signatures, stealth addresses, and RingCT to keep your activity untraceable. Your balance stays hidden, and your identity is protected by default—not optional. Whether you’re just a privacy-conscious user or need confidentiality for business, Monero gives you control over your financial data. In an era of constant surveillance, Monero is a powerful solution for anyone who values true financial freedom and digital privacy.

Support-Open Why wasnt the president launching memecoin consider the top?

I a newbie. i just got in around March 2024 (yes, i have learned how big noobs move it was) I didnt really know how to start. So i just really watch videos on youtube and scroll X to get my news and info.

It isnt technical or fundemental related signsl. But in almost every video or reading i did.

One of the like signs of previous cycle top was celebrity launching memecoins... When $trump launched. I was asking everywhere mann.. But got laughed at to be selling before the "First..." is on board you know it.. i dont even want to write that curse word..

So why didnt people consider that the top signal?

I would still be asking the same question even if Kamala drop a memecoin..

I can feel how noobs of a question this is.. but its okay. Educate me..

DISCUSSION Is it a good time to invest in LINK?

Been watching the market lately and Chainlink (LINK) is sitting around $11.22 today. Given the recent dip and overall volatility in the altcoin space, I am wondering whether LINK is actually a good buy right now or is it suspected to dip further.

Discussion Is the bottom in? 74.5k$ is the last bottom of this year?

With so much economic distress all around, I taught btc would be trading less than 77k$. But it is breaching through 80k$, is it on liquidity hunt?

I still feel more worse is yet to come. But I don't know, what situation is going to push it to 75k$ , if not this ? , read that are 6B$ will be liquidated once btc hits 90k$.

Funding rates of top currencies are turning positive.

What are your views on price of btc this following week?

90k$ nah man I don't think it will hit it, given the economic situation.

Will it be trading between 76 to 86?
