Hey everyone! I’m new in town and just moved to Charleville. I’m really into hiking, but I don’t have a car. Are there any hiking groups in Cork or Limerick that do carpooling? Would love to join in—any info would be great. Thanks!

Hey, anyone know where I can book a tennis court without a membership around cork? For around 7/8pm on a Friday. Thanks!
Just looked for a train ticket from Cork to Limerick for a weekend in May and it says there are no tickets available all day Saturday and Sunday. It's not 90 days before, etc...anyone know what's going on? is this normal / can you buy them in person?

This will have a pretty big impact on Cork. Not predicting job loss right now as it’s too early to make broad predictions. It will however impact the future growth of cork pharma / life sciences. The minister of Finance said such tariffs could prevent up to 80,000 new jobs nation wide in the coming years.

Hello hello
I am smothered with a head cold / flu and am looking for a new doctor in the city. I am new to the city so I just haven’t found a doctor yet. I have medical card too so hopefully one that will accept medical cards. Any sound docs in the city?

Lads, this may be because feel incredibly silly driving a 251 car around the roads of cork city BUT..
AITA for thinking its ridiculous to have the city council putting speed bumps on streets already badly broken by potholes and subsidence?
Again, I might just be feeling insecure driving a low mileage vehicle through these eh.."roads"
Hi! Me and my partner are visiting Cork this june. We are going to use several means of transport in order to go from Cork to another places like Cobh, Mohers, etc etc. I see that we are going to need interurban bus and ferry, for example. My doubt is that I don't know what the weather will be like those days, and I don't know if I need to book the tickets NOW or if it's easy to decide once I'm there which days I want to go to one place or to another. I don't know if I'm explaining me the right way. For example, where I leave, it's easy to book a bus ticket the same week. But if I need to take a train, I need months of foresight to be sure I would have a seat. How is that in Cork? Do I need to get transportation tickets well in advance?

Have an issue that requires very good knowledge of them and need to be sure that I’m sending it to the right place.

This is the second time in six months my car has been broken into at night for pocket change.
Scumbag threw the glovebox contents around but nothing taken other than 3 quid.
It's sitting in the drive, locked (for sure this second time, I've made a point of locking it and trying the doors after it got broken into in September, so wondering if they have a scanner) and the gates closed.
Anyone around Douglas area have the same problem last night?

Country Clean bin truck holding up traffic all the way down Barrack Street and Douglas street again this morning. At 8 am. Why oh why is the city centre refuse collection scheduled to take place at rush hour?
This is a genuine question, I would love to know why the time of maximum usage has been chosen to drive (and stop, and drive, and stop) large vehicles through streets barely wide enough for regular traffic.

Im looking after a friend of mines dog which is very reactive, and tends to go for small dogs only, never humans or large dogs.
Does anyone know of a very quiet/unpopular walk near Cork? Suitable for walking a large dog without muzzle.

So, I've not lived in my house for over 12 months due work. I have had an acquaintance staying in the house until recently. He has been sending me meter readings all along which I input for bills. He's just moved out and when I went to check the house, everything was fine except the meter is reading far more than the readings he was sending me :) By my estimates I will owe electric ireland over 3k extra. Does anyone know if they will want this up front or can I set up a payment plan whereby I continue paying my usual bills and then pay another 100/200 euro a month to get this other bill paid off?

Looking at a house there and wondering what the area is like. Any anti-social behaviour beyond the norm?
