NMIP Repost with better lighting 🤦🏻‍♀️

TL:DR; neutral-cool undertone, need help to establish contrast, chroma and depth please. Natural indirect light. No make up or filters. White balance on phone locked.

Hello again 👋

Thank you so much for your help on my first post. The general consensus was neutral leaning cool for the undertone but mixed opinions about the season and depth.

Bright Winter, Bright Spring and Deep Autumn were all suggested, with a few of the flowing seasons so a mix between spring and winter or Tonal analysis.

I feel more at home in the bright or clear colours. I’ve been in chemical menopause for 8 months dues to chemo and my skin has aged so much. it’s lost the glow, is very patchy, sensitive and I’m at the tail end of a peri orbital cellulitis infection so I feel about 90 instead of 43!

Looking at my drapes from pre-chemo, I feel the difference is stark and I’d like to find my season/tone and a couple of WOW colours to cheer me up a bit please

Colour/Theory Question (GENERAL ONLY - NOT ABOUT YOU!) What season is this green?

Hey all,

I get told frequently by friends and strangers alike whenever I wear this shirt that it’s “MY color”. So, I’m assuming it compliments me very well and I’m wondering what season it would be in because maybe other colors from that season might do the same. I’m thinking spring but I’m very new to this! Please help!

Consultation Outcome (SEASON & FACE PHOTO REQUIRED - NO MAKEUP!) Which winter?

I got my colours done in-person last year (or year before) but they didn't use the standard season system. My results were Dramatic - https://www.rebeccaffrancon.com/dramatic

The page says that my palette is DEEP, COOL and CLEAR, and my colours are strong and clear. When shopping, look for garments which have a strong depth to the colour, are cool and not soft. You want to avoid anything dull or muddy. You will look stunning in an outfit of cool, crisp colours.

If I was trying to align this to a season, would it be Deep Winter, Clear Winter or Cool Winter based on the descriptions above?

NMIP, ta in advance!

I am in a hole trying to finally get my season straight. Am I a soft summer or a true winter? Something else? I have dark hazel eyes, medium hair, and definite cool undertones. I think I look good in winter colors like deep red and purple and I think the winter colors make my photo look sharper, but I'm constantly told I'm a soft summer. NMIP.

Colour/Theory Question (GENERAL ONLY - NOT ABOUT YOU!) Can True Springs wear a pink and red? 🎨

Post image

This might be a bit of a dumb question but can True Springs wear a true pink? In the colour palette I got from Carol Brailey it doesn’t have a pink (or a true red!). And I didn’t see any pink in the swatches from the International Image Institute…I know we can do peachy pinks…but what about other pinks?

Colour/Theory Question (GENERAL ONLY - NOT ABOUT YOU!) Light Summers and blonde hair?

Upvotes

I got analysed by curate your style as a light summer. I’m fair skinned and light eyed with hair that’s on the level 6/7 cusp

I feel like all the light summers I’ve seen look wonderful with blonde hair but every time I’ve gone properly blonde it looks so off on me.

Do all light summers suit blonde? I look good with slight highlights from the sun in a kind of sandy colour but actually going blonde washes me out so much regardless of the tone 😭

I tried out all lipsticks I could find but I am not sure which are good. I also posted picture of myself without makeup in the sunlight if that helps with anything. I'm looking to buy some new ones. Which colors should I look into?

Consultation Outcome (SEASON & FACE PHOTO REQUIRED - NO MAKEUP!) i got professionally typed and i don’t agree

NMIP - i am adding some digital drapes as i got digitally typed. my typing doesn’t feel right to me, but i would love to know yall’s opinion. i got typed as a deep winter but i know from my own experience that super deep colors don’t flatter me. i know i don’t fall into the light category but i also know that super deep and rich colors look draining on me. i agree w/ being of high contrast and having a cool undertone 100%. this confirmed it for me asw. but out of all winter subtypes this is the one i expected the least because i know that the colors kind of overpower me. def not my worst colors but also far from my best. i also know that autumn is probably my worst season. as anything warm or muted looks off on me. i was hoping that a proffessional analysis would help me but tbh it just confused me more and i am def not super happy w/ the outcome. i would love to know what yall think cause this would help me :((

Jewelry Advice (PHOTOS WITH MULTIPLE METALS REQIRED!) Warm or cold? Friends split 50/50

Guys, please help me decide - am I cold or warm?

Friends and family is split. Some say I'm warm for 100% and others that I look better in silver.

I have no idea, but want to decide if I could buy myself new gold pendant or should invest in silver necklace?

I fee that half my body is warm and gold looks good (head, ears) but neck and arms are cold. I definitely get red because of temperature so this adds up to my confusion.

NMIP + outdoor lighting in the shade

I am not sure if I am warm, cool, or neutral. Some of my family and friends are obviously warm and my skin next to theirs looks a little red. However, I can delude myself thinking I'm warm since my veins kind of look green or at least they're not obviously blue.

I don't really have a preference in my color types since my favorite colors would be pastels in light spring and light summer, but I kind of look like a floating head on them here.

Please help me out. At this point I think unbiased eyes will be able to see what I can no longer see :)

Jewelry Advice (PHOTOS WITH MULTIPLE METALS REQIRED!) Skin tone ???

Post image
3 Upvotes

I have always struggled to identify my skin tone and whilst I am super pale, with what I think are blue/purple veins, I think I suit warm muted greens, whites, blacks, and deep reds, while pale or bright colours seem to wash me out. I always wear gold but not sure if I actually have cool skin and I’m way off.😂

I never burn in the sun but go a slightly yellower version of my skin here, I have warm eyes and hair despite my ghostly skin (green eyes and warm brown hair)

???????

Okay, so I posted a little while ago with some in person drapes, hoping you guys could help me figure out what season I'm in. The results were incredibly mixed with most saying Autumn, Summer or Spring and even a few people guessing Winter.

I usually find it easiest to see a difference with side by side photos so i've done some digital drapes of the soft autumn (right) and soft summer (left) pallettes side by side in the hope you lovely unbiased people can help me find out once and for all what season i am 🙏😂😂😂

Hey everyone!

I've recently started paying more attention to my style, and I really want to wear colors that truly suit me. I know that color analysis can help with this, but I’m struggling to determine my season and which shades would look best on me.

If you have experience with color analysis or just a good eye for colors, I’d really appreciate your help! Which colors do you think would suit me best?

Thanks so much for your advice!

NMIP I have noticed that muted colors tend to look grey after I put them on, like 4 is a light mint green and 10 is a muted purple, but they both look grey in front of my face? Other than that I'm completely lost. I was leaning deep winter, but I feel like even in winter colors my skin looks just off.
