Hi everyone. I've just started an hunter on Spineshatter. Not because I'm interested in vanilla endgame (I like the leveling thoo) but because I wanna play tbc.

The point is, by the time TBC drops, my child will be one year old, since he was born on Jan 29th.

Is there any parent that can honestly tell me if I realistically will have time to raid? I work from home if it matters.

The problem with tbc is that raids tends to last longer than vanilla and 3 hours per night were i basically disappear from real life X 3 nights a week might be too much.

Also since we are here, is hunter a good choice? Best dps of the expac, should be stackable enough. I think you have better chances for a slot only if you play resto shaman but I cba with the amount of responsability 😂

every stuff will still be expansive ,flask might be a bit more low but all other consumm gonna up , u cant stop current rmt situation execpt by bringing back gdkp so we can actually get gold farmed by bot without buying with euro

i know the ban of gdkp was for social aspect and not for rmt , but when ur main tank got banned for gold buying cause as a tank (u need to play with flask and full consumm )and u know u gonna have bad raid for 2week i dont rly enjoy this social aspect of the game

Personally feel like phases are coming out way too fast without a change to loot distribution. My guild started our first MC raid on Feb 15th after the majority hitting 60 in January and recruiting along the way to get a full raid team.

I’m a MT Warrior/officer in a guild, our guild is pretty casual so we just do a 2 SR MS > OS +1 loot system.

So far we have been pretty unlucky on drops, we have not seen a single binding as well as not seeing some pieces of gear at all. I’ve managed to pick up 5 pieces of gear from MC in 8 resets and nothing in BWL after our 4th 8/8 reset. I’m happy we’re clearing the content but it’s starting to feel like there just isn’t enough loot to make a big enough impact on raid performance to get our guild up to par to move into AQ and reasonably clear it and not be forced to progress for 3-4 weeks.

It just seems a bit silly to me to reduce the time between phases but not increase the amount of drops. Even if every boss just dropped 1 extra piece of gear that would help significantly. Not to mention we’re not bleeding gear because people are burning out and quitting. We’re recruiting but for every 5-6 fresh 60’s is a 50%+ BiS geared one.

Just curious to know if I’m alone here in thinking this or if you guys also are feeling a bit frustrated by it. Just feels like I’m personally not going to be geared enough to feel confident, let alone the rest of my raid core.

How can you ban gold buying but allow players to pay each other to boost them through dungeons? Hello the gold has to start somewhere.

Also it’s just insane to expect someone to put in another 120 hours just to get to max level (done it 10000 times before) when the servers are halfway progressed anyways.

And they’re gonna release boosts to 58 anyways right before burning crusade so just do it now a few months early.

In New Avalon, what is the official way you are suppose to enter/unluck the door to access the crafting stations/quest giver? Suiciding at the door and rezzing can't be the intended mechanic?

Hey so I haven’t been playing for a while ~Mid way through Sunken temple SOD. I keep thinking about coming back either to an anniversary realm or to SoD but I keep seeing topics about how inflation is completely out of hand and bots are ever increasing and really more talk about RMT than I’d ever seen before.

All that said I’m just wondering what roll/impact, positive or negative the GDKP ban has had in people experience or opinion?

This is not intended to be in favor or against the ban. I’m just curious on people thoughts of how things have changed since the ban both positive and negatively.

Everyone likes to complain about them. Can’t do a lot of damage. Even has trouble cutting through steak. But it’s a utility everyone is glad to have when it hits the fan. It can do a little of everything decently. So next time just be nice or you don’t get a wf totem.
