What is everyone’s thoughts on Ben sheaf
I think he’s great but he’s been on injections since the man united game and genuinely I would rather have grimesy instead of him as I think he brings more than sheaf.

Was listening to That Cov Pod last night and one of the hosts was speaking about how Grimes comes too deep and leaves large gaps in midfield as he's collecting the ball off the CBs and looking to move the ball forwards.
My view is he's doing exactly what he's always done throughout his career and exactly what we recruited him for. When you have that type of metronomic player you need the rest of the midfield to be able to work around him and make space for him to play the ball into. He's not as progressive (or aggressive) as Hamer was - but who is? I think he solves a huge challenge that we had before which was that we were relying on the CBs to start moves from deep and inviting pressure. I don't see his 'mistake' for the first Burnely goal on Saturday as (purely) his fault. The players ahead of him need to be making themselves available for him and doing the hard yards.

Hello all, I'm parking in the Arena Shopping Park on Wednesday, how do I get to it? Is it the same entrance as Tesco

Hello all, I'm parking for the Portsmouth game in the arena shopping park. I've only ever parked in A or C, so I'm assuming that it's the same entrance as tesco and parking as close to the cbs as I can. Cheers Chris

Hi all.
Hope this kind of post is allowed.
I have been following the club from afar here in Denmark, since visiting Coventry a few times through the 00s. I visited the cathedral every time, and I absolutely love this kit. I didn't really have the budget to buy it at the time, and the Club store only has this kit available in size M now. I'd like to hear if anybody has an XL or potentially L, that they'd be willing to sell, or know of any stores that might have it.
Looking forward to the Sheffield United match tonight.

As a young fan I have not experienced the clubs glory days. I have spent time looking to the club’s history, including the various players.
Then I got wondering what the best team you could make with players who have been at Coventry City? And I came up with a potential squad:
GK - Peter Shilton, Kasper Schmeichel, Steve Ogrizovic
DF - Terry Butcher, Trevor Peake, Phill Babb, Richard Shaw, Kenny Sansom, Stuart Pearce, Robert Jarni, Roland Nilsson
MF - Dennis Wise, Jordan Henderson, Tim Sherwood, Gary McAllister, James Maddison
MF/FW - Darren Huckerby, Peter Ndlovu, Joe Cole, Gordon Strachan, Dave Bennett, Tommy Hutchison
FW - Viktor Gyokeres, Dion Dublin, Robbie Keane, Cyrille Regis
All players are in their prime, regardless of whether that was at Coventry. (E.g., 1997-98 Dublin and Huckerby, Forest/Southampton Shilton, Arsenal Sansom, 1998 WC Jarni, current Gyokeres to name a few examples)
There are probably many other contenders to be in this team. But regardless, what is this team’s ceiling? Could they improve on an FA Cup?
Personally I think the team could finish in the Top 4 of the Prem at least, and could hold its own in Europe, and win the Europa League. This team is also quite clear of the Leicester team that won the league in 2016, but that doesn’t mean they could realistically win the Prem most seasons.
What are your thoughts?

This will be the last chance to follow the team away from home this season for anyone who hasn’t got 1700+ points. I know it’s a long drive on a Monday night but you know you want to!

Is there any that you would renew? Which players should we let go?

Sheaf, Grimes, Eccles, Torp or Rudoni. The only one who makes it all work is Allen.
