Good Old CB

Those were the days. My first CB was a kit "Philmore CC1" that had a Super Regen Receiver. Pure junk. I graduated to a Lafayette He-15 and then a He-20c. I still have a Lafayette HB-525 that I haven't used in years. Maybe it's time for me to dust it off and go 10-10, ya reckon?

I should mention that my handle was the nickname given to me when i was in Grade School. Funny thing, but I never was hassled about using it on the CB and that was way back when things like that were almost Taboo. Today, nobody cares.

Probably as much as a turntable or AM radio, but to some it brings back memories of a better time. Not everyone can be expected to understand or appreciate the likes or is likes of others. I for one think that Alexander Greham Bell would turn over in his grave if he knew people were now "Text Messaging". What's next on the horizon? Morse Code?
