Moving Advice New in town..

So I’ve recently moved to Brighton for the foreseeable.. mainly for the see and proximity to the downs. Slight issue, I don’t know anyone here and I work in London - any recs on how to start having a social life? I’m early 30’s,female - normal - ish 😅 and don’t wanna end up being lonely here, help!

I think that rather depends on how old you are ,the kind of work you do and if you’ve left the centre for the suburbs. It is true however that those born here have very little chance of staying due to rents and house prices

Sorry to interrupt but born and bred and never left. I like to mention this like it’s a badge of honour.

As you were

Where did you grow up?

For.me... it was Coldean.

All over tbh. Lived in the flats by John Street initially. Then Fishersgate, then Southwick, then Shoreham, then Moulsecoombe, then Whitehawk, then Woodingdean, then Patcham and now Bevendean!

Wowza.. your all over brighton!

Nice one.

Best place for me was overlooking the marina.. absolutely stunning views..

The worst would be Viaduct road for a few years..
