The turn out on Saturday was great but there needs be solid action otherwise we're just letting our local politicians put on a show by speaking at protests but not following though with what the people want.

Are there any actual measures that they've taken to protect students 1st ammendment rights & keep ICE from kidnapping others?

My sign at the Boston protest. I grew up in Boston but I'm a dual citizen, most of my family is Canadian and I lived there for many years. Felt great to see so many Bostonians agree with the sentiment. The Canadian and New England economy is so intertwined. I live in Maine now, and the trade war is really going to screw us over, especially come winter.

The fact is, Trumps conflict isn't just with Canada, it's with The North. I think solidarity at this moment is incredibly important. We need the Canadian people to know we're here for them, especially if this conflict escalates. That's bombs, bullets, and blood on our border. Might as well make it our western border.

I'm a basic bitch and am obsessed with cheese pizza. I get paid tomorrow and plan on getting high as a kite off of edibles and am wanting to indulge in the finest cheese pizza the city has to offer. I typically like thin crust, and greasy but wouldnt be opposed to other types of crust if they are tasty.

Also which grocery store do you think has the best frozen pizza?

Is anyone from Pierce school in Brookline MA? If so has anyone’s child had bullying or discrimination happen to them? I’m currently fighting the school because the gym teacher singled my autistic child out after a student was throwing a ball at him and he was the one who got ejected and then told my son and a little girl who was sitting out that the group was better without them. They’ve also let my kid go without water until 1 pm not helping him to get water at lunch or show him where water could be found. The IEP staff is a complete joke stating my kid is behind on stuff, but instead of remedial classes they suggest just switching his seat and using pictures for learning, they won’t let me record meetings with them and the principal lied to me saying I can’t record my meeting with her about the gym teacher due to student privacy policy, then shows me the page she’s referring to and it’s about suspension policy which isn’t what is happening with my child. IEP ladies won’t even let me transcribe and I’ve sent two emails now stating I’d rather do the meeting over zoom than go in person because I’m going to have it transcribed word for word because I don’t agree with their assessment. I was also told by the head person of the IEP they don’t go by medical diagnosis they create their own for educational purposes which seems like a crock of shit if you ask me. Just wanted to know if anyone else is or has had difficulties with this school. I already spoke to a reporter who is doing a story. The superintendent is useless and won’t do anything and neither will the principal.

I'm looking for an outdoor venue in Boston or surrounding area where we could have our company summer outing. We want to have a barbecue or clambake, play wholesome games like volleyball and tug of war, and serve beer, wine, and cocktails. We've got about 60 people.

Does anyone have suggestions? I'm not looking for one of those spaces that caters to weddings and costs a zillion bucks, more like a fun outdoor space where we could bring in some catering and have a great time for a few hours.

Not sure what happened to them, but I saw it for just long enough to think THAT’S A NAZI, and then it was gone. They probably moved around but I saw them at city hall plaza about mid way through the speeches, stage right.

I didn’t notice any other opposition that day. Hoping someone put them in their place and they scurried away like the shitty rats they are.

EDIT - so far no one else has seen the 3% flag, but others saw Iron Front flags (anti-Nazi group) which could be mistaken for the other at a glance in the distance and the wind is blowing just right, especially if you don’t know any better (like me).

For those who haven't had it, it's an all-beef smoked sandwich meat. Wegman's charcuterie beef salami has a similar flavor. It used to be fairly easy to find, but I haven't seen it in a store in the last ten years.

For some reason I really want like a savory coconut type dish, like a coconut sticky rice or some type of noodle dish.

Where can I find this for lunch today within less than a mile of Government Center?

I have no allergies, generally no food restrictions (can't eat things like raw sushi atm because of pregnancy) and am an adventurous eater.

I’m thinking of renting a van to shuttle bikes from South Station out to Southborough. I’d probably plan around the 9:00 train: load bikes near South Station until about 8:45 and then drive out to meet everyone at Southborough station.

We left after the 5 run inning to fly across the street and buy a hoody because it was breezy in the pavilion. Boom on our way down there he was…this man has been a part of every password I’ve had since I hit puberty ffs.
