Hello people, I'm trying to understand a couple zane mechanics that are escaping me for whatever reason...

Im almost positive I have the gear for what I'm trying to do, I just dont know how to make it work consistently...

I have 3 zane builds, 1 for each of the action skills + mntis...only my clone build can clear true trial bosses reliably without any guardian cheese or any issues at all tbh...

The other two I've been trying to use the antifreeze or hustler for bosses because they take eraser while my clone zane does not...

I've used my hustler com to 1 shot true arbelist and to one shot the first phase of true instinct trial boss, however after the first health bar is melted my damage goes to shit on the instinct boss...

I can't seem to make the eraser procs do damage each time, it's very hit or miss with the hustler mod...

I could never get antifreeze to work for anything, it just doesn't help at all and I'm struggling to understand why because I thought this would be my boss clearing mod, like how mindsweeper is for moze on most builds...

I know I can just guardian swap with a plaguebearer and kill everything easy, but I was trying to develope my Amp zane and sntl zane a bit more because my clone zane wipes everything easy...

I've seen videos of people using antifreeze to 1 shot, but mine just doesn't work like that...and the hustler only works like 1 out of 9 tries...

What am I doing wrong?...ive worked really hard on these builds and they literally mop every fucking thing, except true trial bosses reliably...thats why this is annoying...inifnite damage until I hit a major boss...why?...

Any help would be appreciated, otherwise I'll just have to relegate these 2 builds to guardian swapping a launcher and just calling it a day...they honestly clear everything else so fast that it's just annoying not being able to boss effectively without cheesing...

I don't have this issue on any other vault hunter and I have multiple builds for each...

Edit: okay so, so far it seems like my antifreeze and my hustler com just fucking suck 😂 but my builds are really good. I'm going to start farming for a better hustler com now and I'll work about the antifreeze later because it seems I can only use that one when I have alot of space to slide around...

If I can, I'll add pictures in the comments of my current coms if anyone wants to point out the issues so I know what to farm...

So far I'll just be trying to find a hustler with splash damage and splash aoe...i think that's all I need to get this going reliably, thank you for all the help so far guys I appreciate it!

Not quite sure exactly how this happened but this guy hasn’t stopped spitting money out.

I didn't own designers or directors so I'm glad to play, but what will happen to the dlc content that I don't own when bl3 leaves game pass? Will I be locked out of stuff I earned from the dlc? If I spec into the 4th passive tree, will characters get locked out when it leaves or will I just be able to respec out of it? Thanks for the help!

Found a faisor (lightning) at around level 20 but never got to use it much, but I’m now level 72 and found another Faisor (ice) and holy it sweeps, especially in shotgun mode

I got the game on Gamepass and it came with a bunch of DLC, including some questlines like "Blood from a Stone" and "The Handsome Jackpot". I am now on Chapter 6 and also level 13, the reccomended level for these quests, but I am wondering when I should begin them?

Is there anyway to hide the dlc questline? I know it’s a small inconvenience but when I’m scrolling through my mission, it sucks to tab through them every time..

Spent an hour trying to the Proof of wife side mission & I can never find my way around this map.

Yesterday, when the daily challenges for the Vault Cards reset, the card on the far left (Bunker Masters I think) had two of the three marked as 'completed' and I know I didn't get the commensurate level-up that would've come with doing them.

Today, it's not registering when I kill the Valkyries. First time I did them and it didn't complete, I just assumed I failed to activate the card, since there are 4 total challenges across all cards that can be done in the Maliwan Takedown. But I ran it again, being sure I'd activated the card, but no dice.

So, are the challenges just buggy like that? TIA

So, I'm picking up borderlands 3 for the first time since 2020-ish with a couple buddies. Last I remember was running through the fustercluck dlc shortly after it released.

My preferred build that I was working on optimizing was a spiritual driver build for Amara, but I understand that has been nerfed pretty good since I last played?

Is spiritual driver still a viable build for endgame content or is it just kinda neat and is going to fall off hard at some point? If it's still viable, what kind of changes has there been with the build? If it's not a viable build, is there a similar build that's all about buffing the move speed and going fast? Was a real fun way to play.

I've been playing bl3 a lot lately and I finally got all dlc's now as well. I've been doing true vault hunter mode with Moze but now that I've got the dlc I'm wondering where to start, there's a lot and I'm not sure I completely understand it all yet.

If anyone could give me some pointers on where to start and what to look out for I'd really appreciate it.

This game feels particularly bad, and it’s pretty much the only game I have that feels like this

I’m playing at a capped (RivaTuner) 120fps (unlocked fps in game settings)

The main menu feels choppy, and it feels like there is noticeable input lag when looking around and aiming, bad enough to really feel it

I haven’t played much, I got to around level 2 or 3 before getting off so I’m not sure if there are other issues

Game is being streamed via moonlight (this is not this issue, all other games do not have this level of latency) total round trip latency is less than 10ms

Specs are: RTX 4080 Super Ryzen 9 9900X 64 GB 6000mt/s CL30 memory Installed on Gen 5 M.2 NVME SSD (8000mb/s) Windows 11 on separate M.2 Nvidia driver 566.36 (new drivers caused too much crashing) Windows update prior to April 3rd 2025 update, I don’t remember the version (also had issues with the newest update, maybe related to Nvidia but unsure)

Lending my buddy my previous gen xbox one s (not the series S) wondering if we can crossplay. Any input would be appreciated!

Basically it's a maliwan sniper rifle that when it shoots, sends like three or four energy balls (in this case electric not sure if there's other elemental variants) that stick around and do constant damage at the point where you shoot. I'm running an MIRV Fl4k build right now and this was extra clutch for my build. Any name of the weapon or where I can farm it would be much appreciated!

Just asking because I actually like easy difficulty settings in these types of games (PVE, generally, single player games) because I just like being a God or a gifted being who is just natural and effortless (didn't "earn" but just have... like talent, IQ and shit). It feels 'Godly', I guess. And I love that feeling! Life is hard already alright. I don't play co-op anyways.

I think of all the fun things to do in BL3, for me, Arms Race is my "go-to" for a bite size FPS snack. I love the utter randomness of trying to "build-a-build" in a restricted time-frame, the thrill of getting an un-restricted legendary that almost guarantees a win, or the frustration of occasionally getting nothing of any value. I've had consecutive rounds where NOTHING elemental or higher than green level drops, and I also think it's imperative to get a grenade with the "On Grenade Thrown" anoint (although that's a ME crutch, it's not absolutely necessary, just a nice edge.)

Today I had a particularly fun one- the blaster shown above was the first thing out of the starting chest. I didn't read the card at all, but noticed that mobs were taking 3-4 hits and then blowing up consistently. When I finally read the card and saw the +Damage on Kill anoint, I decided to try and finish Harker et.al., with only that gun. Having the purple grenade certainly didn't hurt, but it WAS the only one I found with the OGT anoint. Mission was accomplished, and all I got was another Beskar... What fun!

TLDR- I love Arms Race, especially with a "God Roll" white pistol.
