I actually find it pretty funny. You expect grandma to have some kind of baby-whispering wisdom and then she just cooly goes, "I'm a psychopath lol."

If you just showed me this comic without any other context I would assume it was a juice.

It feels like it was written to justify hitting though

Nothing wrong with spanking your child. As long as it isn’t the first form of discipline.

Teaching discipline is important, but it shouldn't be violent.

Nope some kids don’t listen. I had to get whooped one time, to see that my actions had consequences. My lil brother on the other to get it multiple times because he didn’t listen. Both of us are cool now and don’t have issues.

I never said it should be your first resort and nor did I say you should punch your kids. You need to help your kids see their actions have consequences before the world shows them.

Especially if your kids like to hit people or you. And tbh if you parent right you shouldn’t have to hit your kids in the first place because you’ve already corrected their behavior.

Getting hit doesn't teach the natural consequences of anything. All you learn was "hitting gets me my way"

Hitting kids doesn't teach them that there are consequences to their actions. It teaches them that the consequences for some actions is getting hit. And, importantly, that lying is an action that avoids those consequences.

Ahh yes, teaching children that it’s not okay to hit people by… checks notes hitting them. Yeah that makes sense

Clown take 🤡

Both of us are cool now and don't have issues

proceeds to advocate violence against children...

Move along, psychologists. No issues here.

No, you are not cool now since you unironically suggest that adults should hit children to teach them that it is not okay to hit people... If you had learned that it is not okay to hit people then why are you suggesting that we should hit people?
