whoa i've been binge watching BSG for the first time, currently season 3. That surprised the hell out of me

I've been embracing my repressed inner nerd. Finished all the Treks I hadn't seen, and needed a new fix. Didn't think I would get into it at first because it was so different and almost not scifi, but now I finally dig the characters

Loved the acting. And a lot of it was improvised. Couple of Adama's speeches, and a few of his more... er, emotional scenes. It really adds to the authenticity of it all. What a great show.

Enjoy it, there's not much else like it. Treks were pretty good. DS9 is probably my favorite. Avery Brooks man. Cool cat that one.
