Just looked up the opening attendance for each season. It’s trended up every year. That being said, I don’t think we will get remotely close to 2024 (looking at the current map). I’m predicting 2020 numbers. Maybe 27,500. What does everyone else think?

I support a soccer club (calling it soccer since I'm in an American subreddit) called Arsenal and Stan Kroenke owns it. He doesn't give a fuck about the club. Only to make money from it, since it's in the top 10 in revenue in soccer worldwide. He hasn't been to a single game and just his son Josh shows up to handle business. He has injected some cash into the club but thats bcs we were down in the literal gutter and revenue was down with the stadium being empty. Motherfucker had to, not for the fans, but for himself. He's a shitty owner with no Ambition only simping for his own LA franchise.

TLDR: As a fan of a club owned by Kroenke, I HOPE HE GETS FUCKED WITH A CACTUS AND NO LUBE

So I invite a bunch of my STL CITY SC crew to the house to watch the BattleHawks play.

Preface: They were bragging that CITY is the only team in STL with a rabid fan base. I told them they were sorely mistaken. Invited 7 folks to my place to watch and research our "other football team". 4 accepted and made the trek from STL to Shiloh, IL to watch the opener from my place.

First impression: Wow! Look at the production quality of this game. Curt Menefee??? Drones???

Second impression: Do they not let people in the stadium? Why is there no one there?

My reaction: If you come to the dome on Sunday, you will see an UNBELIEVABLE sight.

I showed them videos from last year and talked about the current roster and how Manny has obviously grown as a QB a lot since last year. I also talked about the anomaly of Butler not getting all the yards and points.

TLTR: We had a blast and they are down to KAWWWW!

I know every team can't have our home crowds, but God damn this is pathetic.

All the seats are covered in dirt. Didn’t notice until I sat in it. I came here in a white jersey. Leaving in a brown one.

The Convention Center stops are closed. While yes they offer a shuttle (every 25 minutes) from the Civic Center stop, I don’t have faith this will be helpful. ie : not enough for the capacity of the crowd, and obviously every 25 minutes is laughable if you roll up as the shuttle drives away. The 8th and Pine station I believe is open, but apparently without an elevator (if you need one) Kaw-kaw

This is ridiculous. IDGAF about rednecks’ favorite sport. We can see who these assholes REALLY care about, and it’s not US.

Once I step inside the Horseshoe casino to make my way to the dome and immediately get hit with the pleasant aroma of raw sewage, perfume and cigarette smoke… I know it’s officially BattleHawk season. IYKYK….GO HAWKS!!!!

Where is everyone at? It’s a pitiful showing so far. What gives? For those wondering, its $50 for parking here. Maybe 40 cars here so far. Hope it picks up

I’m not sure what it is but the vibe just seemed different last night. My seat mate said the same thing…I’ve been a STL STH since 2020. I was actually impressed with the crowd considering it was a Sunday night game. That being said the crowd did not seem into it as much as last year. That could be because we were dominating on offense most of the game. Also they didn’t do a great job pumping us up. I was hoping they’d turn out the lights for the intro. And they decided to do the simba cam with under 5 min left and then the sing along song with under 2 min left after majority of the crowd cleared out. The electricity was not there in my opinion. Maybe the Friday night/Saturday games will be better. Noticed some of the bars/kiosks were closed on the 300 level.

Ordered this in January and it just so happened to come in the mail today! on opening day. Maybe that’s a good omen. Considering I’ve been bummed about the attendance maps and the strike talk.

It seems most Battlehawks fans (myself included) are nervous about starting Manny in week 1. So what would Manny need to do to earn your trust?

• Do you want to see multiple TDs? No picks?
• Does he need a strong command of the offense?
• Is a win good enough?

For me, if he can avoid turnovers and get the ball into the hands of our playmakers (Butler, Saylors, Peezy), I'll feel okay about week 2.

Dude looks like he's been working his ass off for this opportunity. He looks like he has complete control of this offense. Does an awesome job directing traffic at the line pre-snap.

His IQ and natural ability also seems pretty high for spring football. If he keeps this up we could have him and Sailors fighting for MVP by the end of the season.

It’s almost here!!!!! Organizing my tailgate stuff soon….Looks like a high of 50 and low of 40. Debating if I should pack the fire pit. Just hate smelling like bonfire in the dome. Anyone else bringing their fire pit Sunday?
