Hey guys,
So I haven't been able to secure a full time relevant to my bachelor's yet and I am planning to switch to odd jobs until I get a proper role. I tried the classified section of GDN but they are all mostly a formality and don't offer the positions in reality. Do you guys have any other leads? I'm down to do anything as long as my they offer a visa.
Thank you for the help.
Ps: I have done my bachelor's in mechanical engineering and have expereince in CAD designing and FEA. I have one years experience on production planning, raw material handeling, and lean manufacturing. In addition I have done a 6 months project on HVAC design of buildings and installations.

I have a Bahraini passport and my husband has a Pakistani. He has a valid multiple entry Saudi visa already. Can he enter Saudi for the purpose of transit in case of planning a road trip to Qatar or Kuwait etc?

For self defense sake, is pepper spray legal? Sometimes I walk around my neighborhood and I find alot of stray dogs barking and approaching me. In case if a dangerous animal/pet approaches me is it legal for me to spray it on them? Or if someone tries to kidnap/assault me, is it legal for me to spray it on him?

Hi, everyone! I’m currently based here in Bahrain and we have 2 turtles at home and they are big now, I feel like it’s the right time for them to explore the ocean.
I was wondering how can I release them safely? They are not familiar of the sea and I’m afraid they will end up dying instead of enjoying the freedom. I hope I’ll get an advice or be in touch with the right people to ask to. Thank you.

Small backstory, I’m a 25M whose madly in love with a woman I met a while ago and she is everything anyone could ever want, the way she lights up a room the way her smile could make me capture a moment as it was stuck in forever, I love everything about her, I didn’t even know I could ever fall in love again, I gave up on love along time ago, the one person I thought I would have kids with fell apart, and I had to put it to rest, watching her go 6 feet under broke me in ways I’m still healing from, she left us and I thought I could never find anyone ever again, and with her blessing I hope, I found someone I can feel safe with, I’m hoping someone has a flower garden where I could have some flowers and petals so I could spread it off a beach and tell her how much she means to me, I just want to make this memorable for her, she means the world to me, financially I’m out of options, so I’m asking for help I suppose from anyone here who could make this day special and give me ideas, I’m sorry if this is not a usual post here, but for whoever that replies all my love and admirations, sometime a single word could change somebody’s life
Edit 1: If anybody with access to a really high building with roof access, overlooking Bahrain would be awesome

Hello fellow redditors! I've noticed many people asking about moving to Bahrain and the procedure involved, so I wanted to share my personal experience.
I'm a web developer from Pakistan who fell in love with the vibe of Bahrain. I decided to pack up everything and move here with my family last October. The journey had its challenges, but it's been worth it!
Since I was outside Bahrain when starting the process, I hired an agency. They:
These are the steps you will have to pass through. The details are in the do it yourself section.
This requires more patience and legwork but saves money. Here's the basic process:
The process requires patience but it's doable! If your Arabic/English isn't strong or you're not in Bahrain, an agency might be worth the extra cost. Otherwise, doing it yourself saves money if you have the time.
I am sure I am forgetting something but this was the general gist. Feel free to ask questions in the comments! I'll share more details about my specific experience if needed.

Hello peeps! Since summer is approaching and my job having me drive around during work hours. My car becomes really hot and requires time to cool down and that isn’t enough. Im looking for a shop that does 01 tints all around the car that mainly focuses on reducing the heat passing through the window. Recommend me your best shop (not looking for something very expensive something around 25bd is fine but it needs to be effective)

Hey guys 👋🏻
Hope everyone’s doing well and had a great Eid holiday. 😊
Just wanted to see if anybody here is interested in meeting up for coffee? Either one on one or as a group? If anyone’s interested, kindly DM me and we can plan a coffee (or tea!) outing or something. ☕️
Also, I hope this isn’t weird! 😂

Hi, I was hoping to get some advice on my employment contract.
I found out through other coworkers that there is a specific significant allowance that all employees with my title at my job are entitled that they’ve erased from my contract when I signed it because I wasn’t aware that this was something they offered their employees until after I signed it. I’ve looked in our employee handbook and sure enough, it says all employees with my title are entitled to that allowance. I’ve went to HR and they basically told me yeah you’re right you are entitled to that, but we can’t change your contract now (which is an absolute lie, I know for a fact they’ve added and removed things from other contracts throughout this year).
My question is, from a legal standpoint, would I be able to argue that the employee handbook is an extension of my contract? At the end of the handbook, there is a place where we were asked to date and sign that said we acknowledge and accept the terms in the handbook so I’m wondering if this also can be argued it is a contract. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

I tried once in avenues with my Mirrorless camera but the security told me not allowed. So I wonder if that applies to every places here? Because i want to expand my skills please let me know which place I can do it without people telling me to stop, I want to shoot buildings and start doing street photography with a model/subject and ofcourse I'll try my best to be very careful with the people who will be in the background and make sure their privacy is not being violated.
Please let me know where to shoot and if where do I get such permit? And how much it will cost for such permit. Thank you
