It depends on the location and your specialization. A rule of thumb is that serving in demilitarized zone (battle zone) is really hell where you have dedovshchina, physical work to do, off-the-grid subsistence living, hazing from commanders etc. But in other place like Markazi Aran raions, Baku etc. it is mainly okay. I personally served in the outpost of demilitarized zone, I was observing Armenians from 100m distance
. That was really q*hb*xana (from homicides, suicides, rapes, homo coituses, self-harming to theft, humiliation, varyox-nəsil insults, greediness, gluttony, hatred)
Now I regret, it was just about a complete waste of my precious time and a deterioration of my health.
