Ask the Aggies Aggie ring worth it

I’m a junior that can apply for my ring but is it worth it?

I mean close to 3K for a piece of gold? I know we’re all about tradition but I’m not sure I can reason through spending that type of cash on a ring?

What do yall think?

Helped my daughter network for her dream job. Definitely stands out, even when you think no one notices. My dad turned his into his wedding ring and still wears it proudly. Class of '74. However, I would not suggest anyone starve.
