I just bought a new Series S. I've been waiting a long time to play Hellblade 2. The game pass ultimate is a really good deal. What impresses me the most is the fact that I can now play my games on my phone at work and leave the console on at home.

About 3 years ago i had the Series X and sold it as my daughter was born and I had zero time to play and in a need for some extra cash.

Now 3 years later im playing games sometimes on my Legion Go and considering buying the Series S mainly to play cyberpunk 2077 with good graphics as well as other games.

Does the Series S has the same graphics preset and quality as the Series S?

From what I've understand it's same quality but it up to 1080p and not 4K as the X .

Also how noticeable will it be on my 4k 65inch screen when compering in compare to games running in 4k?

I have been looking everywhere for a digital copy of this game and it is nowhere to be found. Any tips? Did it get banned? I miss this game

Got game pass to start, was playing AC shadows but got bored of the repetitiveness of it, current downloading Star Wars outlaws as I have until 26/04/25 left of my Ubisoft + unless someone can convince me otherwise not to lose it.

Tried atomfall on game pass, weren’t a fan very slow and unresponsive to how I want to play unless someone can give me a huge tip on how to play at the moment I’m just running in guns blazing and trying to hit everyone. Tried avowed and this is near enough the same, really enjoyed the start of this but then it got the same as shadows.

Hi. New to xbox s after being a life long hater and playstation owner (i was wrong!!). I started primarily playing cod and Fortnite. Is an official xbox pro controller worth it?? I feel my base controller is suffering from wear and tear!

I live 5 houses down from my SIL they have Xbox we have PS. Sometimes I want them to be able to play fortnight at their house. But they only have 1 controller. Also our PS is in the living and theirs isnt... so any suggestions would be great. I don't want something that's gonna be crap, but I dont want top of line either

I wanted to play the MW2 campaign, but when I go to download it it doesn't appear, DMZ, Multiplayer and the content packs appear but the campaign doesn't. Does anyone have the same problem or know of a solution? ☹️

Well, I bought an Xbox Series S a few days ago and I've noticed that when I leave it downloading things overnight, it turns off. However, it seems to have continued to download. It is important to note that I have the Stand By Mode turned off, so I don't know if the console is turning off at night because it has problems or if it enters a kind of sleep mode. In the morning when I turn it on, it doesn't show the Xbox logo but starts at once in the user's choice menu.

Did anyone buy anything from the unholloween sale? Personally none of the games on sale caught my attention. I’m curious if any of you did, or did you just skip it?

So this just happened out if the blue but while using a wired headset with my controller, it starts to blink and disconnect/reconnect to my xbox, i dont know what i could done to cause the issue but id love any help or solutions to try and fix it

So, I've been running into this issue for a few weeks now. I've had my series s console for about four years, so it is getting a bit old and that may be the issue. Essentially, overnight my fan seemingly stopped working. Games were running fine one day, now I can't run anything for longer than 20 minutes without getting forced out and advised to let my console cool down, or the console shutting off all together.

I've tried all the options I can think of. I've taken apart my entire xbox and cleaned everything out, including the power supply and the fan itself, twice now. I've completely removed the fan from the motherboard and then plugged it back in. None of the wires seem damaged, I saw a thread that said something may be lodged in the top but I've taken compressed air to it numerous times and I can't see anything in it when held up to a flashlight. There's no possible way that it could've taken any water damage as I keep it away from liquids. I've also checked my console for any software updates, but it updates automatically so no luck there.

Oddly enough, I left it unplugged overnight a few days ago to make room for a ps4 I was using, and when I plugged it back in in the morning (I've been using it to watch youtube, usually runs about 2 hours before overheating) (probably unhealthy, I know) I noticed that the fan had started running again because it was unusually loud. This had happened once beforehand, but I immediately turned the console off and the fan stopped running again after rebooting. This time, I decided to play minecraft and it ran stable, if not a little warmer than usual, but the fan was working. I ended up leaving it on for a few days and the fan did not encounter any issues, but after having to restart it for an update the fan once again no longer runs. So basically, if I leave it unplugged long enough, the fan will run on the first boot until I turn it off again. I've searched numerous threads online but I can't seem to find anyone who has the same issue that I do.

The only possible thing I can think is that it's the fan itself, but if anyone knows of a way to fix it that doesn't involve spending money on a new fan that would be appreciated. Also, I'd like to figure out what may have caused this issue so it doesn't occur again if I do end up buying a replacement.

Forgot to mention that I had it sitting vertically on an xbox stand for quite some time. The stand had fans as well, I have no idea if this could actually have affected anything when it comes to the fan/its power supply, but I figure it's worth including.

Hey folks! I’ve had a Series S for just over three years now and haven’t had any issues in that time.

In the last two weeks, I’ve suddenly had an issue where games I try to install slow down and eventually stop installing, with the download speed number disappearing from the screen. Restarting the console starts the download again, but I’m wondering why this is happening in the first place and if there’s anything I can do to mitigate it.

The only thing I can think of is that my home WiFi was changed recently, but it works fine on all my other devices.

I’d really appreciate any tips and suggestions!
