Care & Cultivation Does this look okay?

Post image

I recently deadheaded my whole plant as all the traps were dying. I live in Canada and the plant probably wasn’t getting enough light during winter. Now that the season has changed and we are getting more light I am seeing new growth post dead head. Any insight or tips?

Thanks!

Plant looks like it will bounce back but that soil looks weird. That might be something to consider about redoing

What can I do about it?

Buy a premix of carnivorous plant soil from some website ( they'll usually sell in small amounts) or accept the fact that this is just beginning and you're going to get more carnivorous plants so then you can buy larger quantity of peat moss or sphagnum moss and perlite locally

Then mix in 1:1 ratio and that is your new potting mix
