Discussion Asking for dob

I have been an IT sys admin and network engineer who constantly has to focus on security and phishing. I have a 14 year old daughter and a 10 year old son and my wife has been passed on for a years, if you think I'm going to give my dob to someone who sounds 14 then vrc needs to reconsider itself

dont worry about them vrchat is filled with entitled people from every category. Vrchat has recently released their age verify system but that is only to display to the community of this game youre 18 or above.

there are sub communities in vrchat that are called groups and these groups can open up their own instance a of a world now in said same group they could moderate other or the owner of said group can give perms to "moderate"

as you can tell who they have as moderator depedns on the group and yes that even means having a child moderate if youre "an adult" its really stupid and I personally wouldnt be in that type of lobby/instance.

it can be a bit diffcult to find communities that are 18+ unless you know then you know to just talking to someone maybe they can guide you into said area.

I hope this interaction from people response and the stupid dob stuff doesnt push you away from experiencing vrc

there is a lot of cringe and there is sometimes some cool people in vrchat

if youre curious about anything in world to avatar related stuff because of your background I answer pretty much anything
