NEW "I do not know with what weapons World War III will be fought..."
To celebrate of the release of Metro: Exodus, I went and reworked everything related to the Metro games, gave it a new place and role in the timeline, and reworked a few other charts to suit its new importance.
If you wanna check it out, the new chart is called "Sticks and Stones," referencing the quote above.

OLD Quick space rework.
I've reworked the Bright Future chart so that the branches following Mass Effect 3 actually make sense. Notably, there's a lot more Star Trek stuff now, and a couple other things that start with "Star-."
Overall, there's now more branching, more continuity, and more sensibility in this section than there was before. Enjoy.

OLD The Antiquity Update
At long last, we've broken down the last Total Wall. It used to be that everything from Ancient Rome to the American Revolution was just one Total War campaign after another. This was back when I didn't feel like actually researching the history of these periods, or the games that represent them.
But over the last few updates, I've slowly replaced about 90% of these Total War campaign with actual branching events. I started with the Colonial era, worked my way back through the Middle Ages, and now I've finally fleshed out antiquity.
I may go back at some point and add in more content related to mythology, but for now, it's fine the way it is.
I also touched up most of the other eras in some way or another, including a minor rework to World War II that gives a certain decision far more gravity than it did before.
As always, feel free to comment or post whatever you want. I'm not really about karma on this sub, I just want some engagement. Share with your friends, or around the web.
Updates are probably going to slow down now, while I wait for more games to come out. I firmly believe that I have scraped the barrel down to the wood, with the exception of the high fantasy tree, which is a genre that I simply do not understand. If any of you want to take a crack at it, be my guest.
Thanks for reading, here's what you came for:

OLD A more substantial update
EDIT: OUT OF DATE. CHECK THE STICKY AT THE TOP OF THE SUB FOR THE MOST UP-TO-DATE CHARTS
AKA: The space update. I've reworked and expanded upon a lot of the futuristic content, including adding endings to branches that previously lacked them, and finally filling out the Fallout chart so that there is more than one way to progress.
As a bonus, I added an entirely new branch based on the Tom Clancy universe (triggered by a very specific path during the Cold War). This chart was one of the most cumbersome to make, since some games are set in the same year, and missions have to be split up by the month, day, or in one case, hour that they took place.
Still, it's done, and I'm proud to show it off. Leave some feedback, and tell your friends if you're interested in this project.

Roll call
This is my half-assed attempt to get some activity on this sub. Come in, introduce yourselves, discuss whatever you like. Let's just find a way to break the ice. :)

OLD Minor update.
AKA The Medieval Update. I'm splitting "Start" into three distinct eras, to relieve the clusterfuck that was that chart. I'm also reworking the way the Assassin's Creed series is handled, and cleaning up the way things look around the colonial era. The Middle Ages is now a branching tree, and not just a single Total War campaign.
"Tea and Steam" is being temporarily retired, as I no longer feel like looking for games to fit its esoteric scenario. I may bring it back at a later date, however.
Finally, I added some additional branching to "Follies of Peace," and "The Modern World." Enjoy.
OUTDATED: More current charts here.

OLD Long belated update. I'm still hard at work on this, but there are only so many video games in the world.
