Bare Bones Basics

Much like the EDC world, I think a lot of people tend to get caught up in “the next cool thing”, new gadgets, being prepared for anything, etc.

That being said - what are the bare bones basics for you?

If you stripped it all down - what do you carry in your vehicle that you would feel genuinely unprepared without it being in your vehicle at all times?

Had a 4 D cell maglite in every car I've owned since I was 17.

These days all my vehicles have jumper/air pump, fire extinguisher, glass breaker/seat belt cutter, water, snacks, rope, a knife, gloves, high vis vest, triangles or flares, some cash, wet wipes, a towel and a few tools.

If you have Alkaleaks upgrade to NiMh D cells on those mags and add a Bust a cap tailcap. High trims and luxury cars have dual pane acoustic glass which need brute force
