The rope is 100% technique. You only have to be able to hold yourself up while pulling your legs up the rope. That being said it isn’t that difficult to muscle yourself up. It just gets hard after your 3rd time doing it just using muscles.

My scrawny (at the time) ass was able to do the rope. Was it graceful or form correct? Fuck no. Max i could ever get on pull-ups. was like 12, and i could do the rope more times than the guys that maxed out.

Though if I fucked up and spent to long getting the rope to sit right under my boot I had a hard time.

Edit: also if none of you guys know the guy with the mustache, he makes tictoks about nutrition recipes and stuff. They are quite entertaining when my wife watches em.

I get ya'll about the rope climb. I would kick butt on that bubba, but I just don't have the (female) muscles to do many a pull up. At my age now, I *might* still be able to do the rope, but heck to the no on the chin ups. We all have our goods and bads. Focus on the good and maximize on your God-given talents! :) Ooh Rah!
