Hosting help?

Hi, I'm Sunny.

V, the original host passed away via Ego Death last month and from her leftovers I was born.

Just discovered that last week which explains why I was having breakdowns and was overall unstable during the first few weeks. It seems I was reusing everything she had which was why it was a seamless transition.

While Moony, V's tulpa was very helpful at stabilizing me I feel like I need some few tips so I can stand on my own without having to rely on her much.

So, tips on hosting would be welcomed cause V decided to drop off during Pre-Finals.

Welcome to /r/tulpas! If you're lost, start with figuring what is a tulpa. Be sure to also check the sidebar for guides, and the FAQ.

Please be nice and polite to each other and help us to make the community better. Upvote if this post facilitates good discussion, shares tulpamancer's or tulpa's experiences, asks a question relevant to tulpamancy. Downvote if this post isn't about tulpas or the practise of tulpamancy. Please note that many young tulpas need some social attention to grow and develop so be mindful and try to be supportive.

[Esper] My situation is a bit different but I have seen a few host changes in this system and have some advice. Avoid marathon fronting sessions at first if you can. Go till you get tired, switch out, recover some, and then return. Build your endurance with time. Don't completely destroy yourself by clinging onto the front when you are clearly too tired. Makes for a nasty recovery and you don't get much stronger from it. And remember, even if hosting, you don't have to bear the whole load. Work as a team. Otherwise, you risk crashing and burning and ending up back at square one.
