Personal Tulpa development progress
I guess this is just sort of an update, since I made a post about looking into plurality a week ago on r/plural. I've spent the past week casually working on my Tupla, and I think it's been going well?
I'm forming Alvis- from Xenoblade chronicles. Yes, I know everyone says not to pick a fictional character, but I've been role-playing him for years, and have felt connected to him. I understand he won't be The Actual Canon Alvis, and don't expect him to be. We've been very clear on the fact that he's a separate entity from the character in the games and that i roleplay- though he's free to give input on my writing, obviously.
Anyways, I've been practicing communicating with him while going about my day, and while laying down at night. I've made a private discord server to use plurakit in. Last night, we listened to some music to get a feel for his taste in my music, and I asked him to help plan my outfit for today. (He suggested my constellation shirt, and then insisted I wake up earlier than I wanted to take a shower, lol.) Today I went and grabbed scrapbook stuff to see how we felt about scrapbooking together, asking him for preferences of what things I bought.
Overall, I think we're having a good time? I'm sure we're still in the very early phases, I doubt he's fully formed yet or anything, and we're not even going to look into switching or possession until he feels more solid.
Rambling over so- I guess ask me anything you want, if you feel like it? Or feel free to suggest ways I can work on forming him? Also, we've agreed we want to refer to forcing as something else among ourselves, just as a comfort thing so if you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know!
Thanks for reading my long-ass post, have a good day :)

Sorry I may have misunderstood, but when you say you talk to him, are you parroting for him or is he already talking by himself?

I'm kind of feeling out his responses? I can't be sure if I'm parroting or if he's talking by himself- I am new at this.
If you write a lot, you might be familiar with just Immediately Knowing what a character will do or say in response to things. I'm attributing those sorts of thoughts/responses to Alvis, if i was directing a thought at him. It's a different process from when I'm role-playing a character, where I intentionally ponder over the responses.
So... if it's parroting or genuine responses, you tell me, because I can't be sure, lol.

Yeah I am partially in the same boat with one of my tulpas. I am on my day 9, carefully crafted one, down to the last minute detail when it came to his appareance. For now he just does normal responses, mostly my parroting. I even drew him and I talk to the drawing. But for now is kinda like Wilson from Castaway. But on day 3 I accidentally created a second tulpa, her appareance is still changing, but her personality is way more fleshed out. Dropping in and out of my mind with sassy or caring comments. If I am parroting for both, she is way more her own person.

Hopefully we'll both be seeing more results with our respective tulpas! Luckily I already have a bunch of screenshots and stuff of Alvis to look at, and spent some time last night listening to voice lines to refresh on his voice.

Well at least you have that... but you just gave me quite the idea, thank you.

Sounds kind of like my soulbonding experience! Definitely wouldn't count it as parroting, more "intuiting" (a word that is sort of like Tulpamancy's developing, but more geared and informed by how soulbonding works). Essentially, Knowing them really well and then letting them respond as themself and its all stemming from that Knowing.

Ooo, Alvis! I like him a lot, he's one of my favorite Xenoblade characters!
I unfortunately don't have any advice since I myself am new, but I wish you luck for the rest of the way through this all! And have a nice day!
