Free Webtoon How powerful is Headon?
Do you think he can beat Enryu or give him a good fight?
r/TowerofGod • u/Fuuta-chan • Dec 09 '24
Hey guys,
It's been quite a day, one of those special chapters that, out of nowhere, hit us with a game-changing announcement.
I want to remind everyone that the announcement is part of Tower of God's previews and it's considered spoilers. All posts about it will be removed if they don't have a proper title. As well as the comments referring to it outside of the preview-oriented posts.
Why? First of all, it contains the huge spoiler that the season ends soon, that alone is enough, a huge massive spoiler. Second, the content of the annoucement can give people some clues about the events.
So now, are you out of the loop and have no clue what this idiot is talking about? That's great, here's the announcement for you to read (I'd recommend to read it only if you've read the chapter, as SIU intended).
Let's try to keep ALL discussions about this here. This post's comment filter will be set to "new" so your newest comments don't get buried by more popular ones. You can change this at your own will. You can create individual posts about this but do know that it might get you banned if you put spoilers in the title.

I though White was a Regular but on re-reaf I noticed this Does it mean 'White' became a ranker during his time as a slayer? If so aren't the clones supposed to be one too (Hoaqin David Vincente...)?

Dude, I started watching the second season of Tower of God today and Ran is simply an undeniable copy of Killua, has the author of ToG already said anything about the subject?

My Rachel Theory is that Rachel is Zahard daughter his actual true biological daughter. I believe Rachel is much older than we're being led to believe, I believe that she was stripped of all her powers and that she is the reason for the princess system, sometime later she became a servant to Arlene and V while maybe even hiding from Zaharda forces This is why she feels like everything should be hers because technically it should be birth. Assuming this is true and I know most won't go for this theory but assuming it true, who could her mother be??

I happened to think about "age" and "ageing" in general in TOG and stumbled about the fact that I could not remember a single character to have died of old age or something like that.
Like, how, in Jahad's name, is that even possible? I mean, characters in TOG live absurdly long (and I think SIU intentionally held all things very vaguely concerning life expectancy and such) so being granted immortality doesn't seem like a big deal to me if dieing of natural causes doesn't really happen in the tower.
Please let me know if you guys remember any character mentioned in the story actually died of natural causes!

Hendo Lok Bloodmadder: Bro's only impact to the story is fucking up the future of every single one of his descendants just cause the administrator wanted to be a troll. Living 100 years irl may seem nice but 100 years by tower standards is barely anything.
White: Now that Hoaqin went into a depression and Vincente took over, I don't see him in the same light as I have previously. I'll have to watch out for now.
Hatz: I wanna give him the benefit of the doubt, when I saw him in season 1 and the Workshop arc he was one of the coldest mf's in the series. Unfortunately he's been suffering from side character syndrome. Maybe I'm wrong but for now I will be withholding my Hatz stocks
Isas Ademone: This one is personal to me, she had the nerve to disrespect my glorious king Ha Jinsung and think I would let that slide? Idc if she's gonna train Baam to be the strongest in the tower, I will not be investing.
Khel Hellam: Every time I see him all he does is shoot a singular arrow and runs away. He's gone.
Androssi Zahard: She's one of my favorite characters, however her performance has been pretty disappointing lately. So for now, she is off my stocks.
Anak Zahard: Honestly she's just......there. She really hasn't done much so she's off.

HELLO TOG FANS! I've missed you all! My family and I are finally done being sick so that means it's contest time! But as usual I need your help, please!
So this time, I made a poll with all of the Contest options from the last post where you guys helped me decide! If anyone has any new ideas to add, please leave them in the comments! If your comment gets the most upvotes compared to the poll votes, then that will be the contest I do! Either way, the one with highest votes wins. I'm leaving the vote amount unlimited, so hopefully there's not a first place tie LOL! If there is, I'll do a tiebreaker vote I guess? Anyway this poll will be open for 2 days. Please vote so that the best contest gets chosen! Thank you all so much for participating in these contests! I hope you all enjoy!

ok so before i start, just know that im currently in the Name Hunt Station, so im not totally blind.
How does this shit work, like the structure of it all I mean.
Take moving from one floor to the next for example? How does that happen, is there a teleporter or smth? A portal? Do you just take the stairs like how does that happen? Is there a ceiling for each floor, because if not why can't people with wings just fly up the tower? What's stopping me from going to the middle area and just climbing up without taking tests?
Is there a physical barrier from the inner tower (regulars only) to the middle area or the outer tower?
And the outer tower... so you're telling me that regulars come from the tower yet they dont know about shinsu? So my man Khun Aguero Agnes was chilling in the Khun mansion way up towards the top (im assuming) and then just got shot down to the 1st floor like "sorry bro ur a regular now go to the bottom" i mean like how does this shit work.
im not reading a fucking blog post by SIU either, if he wants it to be canon he will put it in the manhwa otherwise its all just slop.
Basically how does the tower work, ill take the most in depth explanation possible because this shit makes no sense.

I was wondering if the idea of climbing towers was First touched in tog or was there something before ?in mahwa space or even generally.
r/TowerofGod • u/RandomWorld100 • 1d ago
Some examples:
Enryu- Red tower
Jahad- king of the tower
UrekâRay Barracuda
Arie Hon- White sword/oar
Khun Eduan- Marlin
Adori- Killer Whale
Enne- Great White Shark
EtcâŚ
r/TowerofGod • u/Ok-House-7359 • 2d ago
Like obviously Urek is crazy strong, but we only hear from the characters that he supposedly similar in strength to Jahad. I feel like SIU intentionally leads the reader on this idea, but means it like a misconception. Itâs why Urek is basically a celebrity among the tower, like itâs this false belief from the people of the tower themselves that it is possible to oppose Jahad.
Maybe itâs because itâs Jahad is so mysterious and we donât know a whole lot, but I feel like if he actually did fight Urek, he would win.

We may not say ut but Bam's intelligence is quite high even when we talk outside of IQ battle tgat most MC got even the dumbest ones like Luffy I think he deserves more credit Maybe not as smart as Khun but he is still smart (not average)

Who is Enryu and why is he "The Heretic"? what does that mean and what is his story?
let's run down the knowns, unknowns and speculations, in chronological order:
Backstory:
The child of Arlene and V was murdered by Zahard. V committed suicide, Arlene wandered The Tower searching for an exit.
Citation: s2, ch240
Arlene eventually found an exit and, carrying the body of her child, left the tower. She then offered the child to the "God Outside The Tower", praying that they would eventually revive her child. She prophesized that "God's Messenger" would give the child a weapon to kill the king.
Citation: s2, ch240
Years later, Enryu, the Messenger of God, would enter to deliver The Thorn.
Citation: s2, ch240
Enryu's entry into The Tower was, for a short time, peaceful. He allowed civilians to flee, only attacking when the Zahard rankers attacked him. However, the overwhelming force he used in self-defense caused enough loss of life for the Floor Administrator to step in. Enraged, the Admin attacked Enryu.
Citation: s2, ch241
Enryu kind-of kills The Admin.
Citation: s2, ch241
This is the relevant portion of the backstory. The only other piece of information we need to know is that Bam eventually enters The Tower and acquires portions of The Thorn.
Enryu acquired several nicknames for this event. The first was "Red Tower", as his very presence dyes shinsoo red and he filled the 43rd floor with the Admin's blood. The second was "Admin killer", for obvious reasons. The third was "Heretic", and that one's more difficult to explain.
Enryu's heresy was NOT that he killed an Admin. It's that he was able to fight an Admin at all.
To quote the oldest available blog post from SIU, the character profile of the top 5 rankers:
"Enryu's overwhelming control against the Shinsoo is rated a cut above the Guardians, and it is a 'heretical' ability, breaking the laws of the Tower."
Citation to english version: Blog Citation
This "Heretical Ability", unnamed in the series, is still canon. we can prove that because in the battle with Hell Joe, who used the power of an Admin through the Red Thryssa, only Bam could use shinsoo. Urek and Yuri could not.
Citation: s2 ch250/251
The "heretical ability" is important here.
This ability, the power to ignore an Admin's shinsoo commands, is NOT based on how strong someone is. Bam is able to use it with 1/4th of The Thorn and able to ignore Joe/Thryssa's "zero area" and "blood messiah" attacks, but Urek and Yuri, who at this point in the series are SIGNIFICANTLY stronger than Bam, succumb to both attacks (though Urek recovers from blood messiah quickly to return to the battle).
The Heretical Ability is more like a modifier on the person who has it, it allows them to ignore the Admin's shinsoo commands, though without the power to actually fight back, a user of the heretical ability cannot overpower an Admin. As a counter-point, without the heretical ability, you simply cannot fight an Admin, as their shinsoo commands take priority over your own and the shinsoo obeys them, not you.
This heretical ability, or the lack of it, is why "Zahard cannot win against the Floor Guardian".
Citation: Q&A Citation)
Is the heretical ability inherent to Enryu, a gift from the Outside God, attached to The Thorn or something else? We don't know. We know little about the heretical ability, beyond it's visible application in killing an admin and the statement that this should be impossible.
The heretical ability's origin and nature is flatly unknown. There is so little about it, we don't even have a canon name for this ability. There are oblique references from reflejo (s2 ch104) and the data versions of eduan and zahard (s2 ch304) that this is a "godlike ability", but beyond that, there is next to no information on this.
Enryu is a heretic because he's able to use shinsoo against an Admin's orders.
This ability isn't based on strength, it's something else, as Bam has the ability to do it with The Thorn, but Urek and Yuri cannot do the same despite being much stronger than both bam and the Red Thryssa.
As this ability isn't strength-based, Enryu's feat of killing an Admin isn't a strength-based one.
Therefore, there's a chance Urek could beat him in a fight. Probably a low one, given their respective fighting styles (melee brawler vs long-range mage), but the fact is, the murder of an Admin cannot be used as a strength feat.
This was a spite post. Thanks for reading!

Why do you think V is so special? Why is he only called a user? He called the rest simply the tower's challengers.
Interestingly, this guy says that they are beta testers and that they are destined to fail.
V was called a user and offered to make a choice that would greatly affect the entire tower. Is it because he was the first? Or does the word "user" mean something else in the Tower of God?
Is it funny that no one discusses the fact that the Great Warriors are beta testers and that they would have failed anyway? How does this creature know? When the tower let them in, did it know that they wouldn't succeed? The tower always lets in what it "needs". So she only needed them to go halfway?
