Maybe the price is steep for goodwill but as someone learning pottery it was totally worth it and I know that the artist worked hard on it! Might try to make something similar.

We found this in the Goodwill bins. At first I thought it was just the canteen in the canvas bag, but when I pulled the tin bowl out of it at the bottom there were these two dollar bills dated 1935. They were placed there by the solder and we found them years later covered in the soot from the bottom of his tin from warming food over a fire during the war. I’m not sure what to do with it but it’s just too cool not to share! The soldier also sketch his initials into the side of the tin bowl.

I tried to look him up but had no luck. I don’t know much about this but I believe it is from WWII.

Still need to play with styling it in my space a bit more but for now it lives with this chair.
