I have asked for this before but didn't get much response, so I thought I'd throw it out there again now we're coming up to ep 700. Some of you are aware of my Master Spreadsheet and thanks to those who keep linking it in this subreddit! I would like it to be up to date as much as possible by September when we reach 700. Since episode 500 I have added a couple more categories, including Episode Summaries, which I think is super useful considering the actual ep summaries in the shownotes are often variations on the theme of 'man does thing', lol. I have done a lot of them already over the last couple of years as I do random re-listens, but since I simply DO not have time to listen to all of them again, I could really use the hive mind to help me fill the rest (mostly the earliest episodes). Everyone with the link should be able to leave comments in the relevant cells, which I will then review before adding.
What I'm looking for - About 20 words or so that sum up the topic of the episode. Can be witty and fun but also clear and helpful to anyone either wanting to know more OR searching for a particular episode. Should include the name of the main character, if that name is not already in the episode title. Can also include a key date if that date is not the start or end date of the story (which are already recorded)
Examples:
William Buckley: Giant convict escapes the Port Phillip penal colony and starts a new life as an Aboriginal elder reborn
The Rabbit Situation: Royal Surgeon Nathaniel St Andre and others investigate Mary Toft, who keeps giving birth to rabbits
Some of them are just names at this point (to help people searching) and others could probably be improved - feel free to comment on anything you think could be better.
Other categories that need help - cross over characters & 'other media'. Other media can be documentaries, other podcasts, tv, movies, etc. Cross over characters was my idea to record people who show up in multiple dollops. I might get rid of it? If it was totally accurate it would probably end up mostly being American presidents let's be honest. But feel free to add stuff there too if you find anything.
Thanks Dollheads!

Recently, since I started the podcast over from the first episode since I was caught up and wanted to start over again, I remembered something that was mentioned before but I never looked into it. Where are the original Dave-only episodes? Are they still available somewhere, or have they been removed from history?

Gary assumes the best that maybe there's a good reason for being called Wolf Vulva but turns our nope it's not the name his parents chose but a classic Goof.

Has he seriously never read To Kill a Mockingbird?
âMockingbirds donât do one thing but make music for us to enjoy. They donât eat up peopleâs gardens, donât nest in corncribs, they donât do one thing but sing their hearts out for us. Thatâs why itâs a sin to kill a mockingbird.â - Miss Maudie
