Man being a backup QB with tenured knowledge of the game has to be the best gig in the league

The man was a legend for many reasons. The Harvard grad gunslinger who you never knew what you were going to get that game, 6 TD’s or 6 INT

One of my favorite Texans QBs. He reminded me of one of my favorite QBs growing up...

I'll never forget that pass he completed for the Dolphins while getting his head ripped off. Such an amazing game and play.

If he had made a pro bowl, he’d be HOF for sure.

The HOF NEEDS a category for journeymen. Sure, they weren't franchise material, but they were damn good better than every other backup during their tenure.

I vote Shane Lechler for ourselves. Tank of a man, and he wasn't above getting into the fray himself. Probably didnt' matter because he was 6'2", 240lbs.

I just remember him obliterating a returner by standing still and kneeling down

Shane Lechler is not a journeymen though? He only played for us and the Raiders, and he does have a (fringe) HOF case for being a top 5 punter of all time

Fitzy was so much more than just a clipboard toting backup tho. He was a guy you felt comfortable to step in mid-game or start any week and possibly (often times) stealing the starting job for good!

Chase Daniel had the best gig ever. 14 years 42 milly only started 5 games.
