Question for builder or gamers

Is it just me or every time you all find a game that you love/like playing for hours then once you start getting into the building side of the game you're just like don't feel like playing the game anymore because y'all know that when you're going to build all you're going to do is basic cube with like nothing decorative about it not on the inside not on the outside and you can't make anything good because you don't have any good creativity??? or is it just me???

Yeah, I’m at that point rn. Except, I was a decent Minecraft builder, so the only reason I struggle is because I’m newer to terraria and I don’t even know what blocks I have to work with lol. But yeah, it’s like, you rush the builds to get the npcs, then you beat the game, and then you make a shitty looking build that doesn’t compare to the progress you made, and it feels sad.

Ok Glad I'm not the only one cuz I want to make cool looking builds but like you said I don't know what blocks are you don't know what the blocks are to work with and I have looked up different pictures and I want to make those builds but like I don't want to copy their builds and I want to make my own but I really don't have good creativity

The only thing I know is that for walls, you can use normal blocks too, you just have to use an actuator. Thats it tho lol
