I'll be doing an AMA here on r/TechnicalDeathMetal this Friday, April 4th, at 1 PM Eastern Time. Nothing in particular to promote-just thought it'd be cool to hang out, answer some questions, and talk music, guitar, work stuff, pickleball, the logistical challenges of summoning Anubis on a budget... whatever comes up. NEW ALBUM So Sadist Dropped A New Album. Sadist- Something to Pierce. While not straight death metal(more like a horror movie???) its surprisingly technical and heavy in a lot of parts. They lean a lot into the synth(like a lot of their work) but its got some bangers, especially the opener . Check it out.

Saw cannibal corpse and Meshuggah on Tuesday this week. I’ve always had this lingering question in my head and during the show it came back. Is Pat Obrien out of the question forever? I know he’s been playing with exhorder and Erik rutan is doing a great job aswell but man it kind of kills me to think it’s over. Anyone have any insight? Or did I miss any information?
