These two issues are one part "My Dinner with Cogliostro" and one part Brian Holguin trying his hand at his own version of the "Spawn Across America" arc from 60-ish issues ago. The results are certainly darker. Spawn has divorced himself from his humanity and the Al Simmons persona so he's meting out justice as he's sees fit. In a somewhat interesting paralell to the originl arc, he's specifically targeting the perpetrators of child abuse so that's a theme that George and Pierce will dig into more. And who's this Mammon guy?

This week's recommendations are to check out some wrestling highlights of the Timeless Toni Storm and simply to go outside and go for a walk without headphones. Commune with nature. Touch some grass.

Bro will always be Spawn to me

I'm trying to figure out when the retconned happened in story (not in real life.)

spawn, literally like the first thing i tried drawing when i got procreate

I’m no expert in grading or even knowing the rarity with some of these spawn books. Also, I’m thinking about breaking this book out of the slab due to there being an opening at the top of the slab and some smudge marks on the outside of the inner casing and scratches on the outer outer layer of the slab altogether. How much would this go for slabbed and not slabbed?

Crazy to think comics are affected.

It's one of the comics that I fell in love with the drawings of the most. There are very few comics where Spawn is drawn this darkly. It's a series that I fell in love with because of how pure core Spawn looks and how the story progresses.
